Speaking was Luosang, who offered a slight smile and stood beside Fisher, then turned back to look at Carolina behind him, saying,
"The protection of these people is up to you now... this way, you’ll be a bit safer too."
Carlo rubbed the garment draped over himself, and though he betrayed no specific expression, Fisher glanced at Prince Luosang and then at Carlo, sensing an elusive relationship flowing between them—subtle, yet Fisher still noticed it.
But Carlo... no, it should be said that Carolina is an Artificial Witch of the Witch Research Association!
Fisher looked at Prince Luosang with an almost abstract expression. The prince’s deafening words from their first meeting still echoed in Fisher’s ears. Fisher remembered the prince had said,
"First off, I am not gay!"

Luckily, Fisher’s own orientation was quite normal, exactly as Lady Martha had said — the weirder young people were, the more they seemed to fancy each other, but Fisher was an exception to this.

As they were about to head out, Prince Luosang suddenly turned back to look at Carolina inside the room. He smiled at her and then said,
"I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Luosang."
Although Carlo did not respond, Luosang seemed quite pleased as he approached Fisher. Facing Fisher’s gaze, he said with a laugh,
"As I said before, when I meet a lady I fancy, I pursue her, and I find that lady quite to my taste... both strong and beautiful, different from the other ladies..."
"I know, she might just be a waiter, or perhaps a special agent from the Nali Spy Agency, but... who cares? I’ve said before, as long as she’s a lady and I like her, that’s all I need."
Luosang patted Fisher’s shoulder in a gesture of encouragement,
"I know, dating a prince could be quite pressure-inducing in reverse. I believe you can relate since Princess Elizabeth is quite fond of you. But I will try to be... gentler, you know, I’m not pretentious."
No, that’s not what I mean.
Fisher was now completely at a loss for words, afraid that revealing a cruel truth might diminish his fighting capability later, so he decided not to tell him about Carolina for now. It would be best if Carolina explained it herself; after all, it had nothing to do with him.
He wanted to get out quickly. It was difficult to converse with Luosang, whose tastes were rather peculiar. Fisher was now a little eager to study the royal family of the sea.

Fisher and Prince Luosang ran ahead, and true enough, most of the densely packed monsters were headed towards them. Unfortunately, their behavior provided no clues regarding the magic’s exact location.
Prince Luosang’s lion boxing gloves swung swiftly. Fisher looked down ahead and saw the huge banquet hall that was originally on the first floor somehow repositioned next to the fourth floor, indicating that the pipes should be visible beneath the first floor.
The spatial rules here were strange. Even if the first floor ascended into the sky, the area below would still be under the ground; the visual spatial connection was incorrect, yet in essence, they were still connected.
The banquet hall was pitch black. The Human Worms in pursuit were closing in tightly. Fisher hurled his Handcane into the air, and the familiar Gravity Sky Ring finally lit up with light. As the Handcane penetrated the ground, in the next moment, Fisher, Luosang, along with the horde of monsters, were flung upward. The ground cracked, the stones flew out like puzzle pieces.
From those puzzle-like cracks, streams of water slowly emerged. The stones flew faster and faster as Fisher grabbed Luosang’s hand, stepping on numerous uplifted stones in midair, and leapt down.
"Do you see the pipes below?"
Prince Luosang shouted loudly, following his gaze, the Handcane still illuminated by Illumination Magic.
As the Handcane fell, Fisher saw a thick disk-like pipe hidden beneath the ground, a small section of the pipe lifted by the Gravity Magic, clear water spraying out. And in the gap where the pipe was lifted, Fisher keenly spotted the densely packed complex magical runes on the inside of the pipe.
