As Fisher was pondering, the office phone behind him rang again. Seeing that it was about time, he asked Moli to use water to revert to her original appearance while he went to answer the phone.

But Moli had just finished cake, and glancing at the raw fish freshly pulled from the sea—a sight she once relished—she couldn’t muster any appetite for the bloody fish.
So, she shook her head and declined politely,
"Thank you for your kindness, Lord Ramasitia, but I am already full, no need for more fish."
The little snake seemed thunderstruck by Moli’s words; it trembled weakly, slumping over the edge of the basin as if countless memories were flashing before its eyes—memories where a smiling, innocent Moli seemed to be drifting further away.
It appeared to understand something and, filled with resentment, looked towards the human on the phone, fiercely squirting a stream of water at him. However, due to the basin’s distance from the phone, the water stream fell to the floor midway, pulled by gravity.

Fisher guessed it was a gift from the Godly entity to Moli, so he didn’t intervene. Watching Moli crudely knock the salmon out on the table, he walked over to the door and picked up his coat.
Trandell had called him earlier, saying he was at the doorstep of his rental with Black Mamba Wine, inviting him for a drink.
