Demi-human Girls Completion Manual Chapter 297

After finishing her words, Kachina threw Lunxis onto the ground, her fair skin on her body began to ripple and contort in layers of fleshy waves. She subtly placed her fingers in front of her mouth, and in the next second, she fiercely bit down and severed her index finger.

The blood-covered finger was held in her palm; Kachina peered into the darkness in a specific direction before throwing the finger out.

Strangely enough, as the finger flew mid-air, it seemed to come to life again. The portion with the fingerprint suddenly opened a tiny mouth, and the entire finger wriggled like a little worm, moving toward someplace in the darkness.

"Nobody move! Everyone stay where you are!"

The Guard Army had already entered the hall, with many of the staff raising their hands to surrender. But in the corner of Kachina’s night-vision-enhanced eyes, she suddenly saw a man wearing a gentleman’s hat leading a figure in a cloak toward the Sanatorium Room in the back.

Those two are definitely not with Dexter! The one who threw the Kraken out was him!

Kachina’s face twisted into a horrific grimace. She shuffled her feet, and taking advantage of the darkness before the Guard Army could turn the lights on her, she also chased toward the back.

In truth, Fisher hadn’t completely dealt with the man who was like putty because, as they fought, the bathroom wall was suddenly toppled by Moli who had crashed into it, also knocking the oncoming Karaken unconscious...

Of course, being hit by a collapsing wall wouldn’t typically knock someone out cold. Moli realized he wasn’t truly unconscious yet she apologized with a "sorry" and then "gently" tapped on the back of the man’s head lying on the ground. Right after that, Fisher heard the sound of the floor and bones breaking, and then the man stopped moving...

Perhaps he had passed out, Fisher didn’t know.

"Fisher, a lot of Human soldiers have come, they, they’re not here to catch me, are they?"

"No, they’re after another bad guy."

Moli pursed her lips, turning back to look at the man on the ground whose fate was unknown, unsure in her heart whether she herself counted as a good person...

"Moli, the place we need to go is behind the hall, and it’s not good to go there with the lights on. I will disrupt the Magic that powers the lights in the hall, remember to follow me closely."

As they were talking, Fisher felt a soft little hand gently grasp his own. When he turned to look, Moli was explaining with blushing cheeks,

"If I hold your hand, I won’t get lost..."

Fisher was somewhat amused but also resigned. With his Left Hand, he picked up the corpse... the body on the ground, then aimed for the Magic Emblem on the distant wall that was emitting a faint light. He waited for the right moment before hurling the man’s body at the wall, where it smashed against the surface and caused a small dent.

In the next second, as if on cue, the lights went out. Moli tightened her tail and ears even more because her body had a faint glow, which was still quite noticeable in the darkness.

Fisher held onto Moli’s hand tightly, leading her up the side staircase in a flash, three steps merged into two, rushing toward the neatly aligned rooms in the back, moving stealthily like a ghost.

The room Anna had mentioned was apparently called the "Sanatorium Room." Fisher walked forward a step or two, then turned his head and looked at the first room, where the door sign read,

What does this mean? Are all of these Sanatorium Rooms?

Fisher frowned, lighting up the space with his Handcane while moving ahead, checking the rooms in sequence. The numbers of the Sanatorium Rooms counted up from one to the teens, none of them repeating, and there was no room labeled simply as "Sanatorium Room."

Really, Fisher felt the urge to kill Anna now, not knowing if she knew that giving false information at a critical moment could get people killed.

Perhaps she had been deceived, or maybe she had turned traitor, but pondering these things was irrelevant now. Fisher was certain that beneath the Healing Room, there had to be a hidden facility; now, even if it meant using Magic to blast his way through, he had to open the passageway.

As Fisher was walking, still trying to determine where the real entrance was, the soldiers had already entered the hall. Amidst the clamor and noise, his own thoughts became more tranquil. Under the glow of his light, he suddenly noticed something peculiar.

Nali’s language was a mono-syllabic language; this was something that had been mentioned before. And now, calming down, Fisher suddenly realized that the second and third letters in the word "Sanatorium" on the doorplates were written in reverse.

To someone who is accustomed to reading, you would still recognize the word even if the letters within it were swapped, and at first glance, you wouldn’t immediately notice the word was misspelled.

"Fisher, look, is this word misspelled...?"

"That’s right, we need to find the one that isn’t misspelled; that’s the real Sanatorium Room."

Just as Fisher’s thoughts had emerged, Moli was already pointing to another door plate, saying so.

He quickly moved forward with his Handcane, realizing that all the rooms had the word "Sanatorium" misspelled. His pupils slightly lit up with excitement, and then he dashed ahead. He and Moli each checked one side, and finally, as they were about to reach the end, they saw the one accurate Nali word that jumped out at Fisher.
