Here it translates into a unique demi-human race of the Northern Realm.
In the novels, these shapeless monsters consist entirely of a jelly-like substance filled with strong acids, capable of easily dissolving armor, weapons… and, ah, in recent years, there’s an added trope where they like to attack beautiful young women, just like how West Continent people demonized the goblin.
