Demi-human Girls Completion Manual Chapter 551

Elliog had sensed a strange odor on me the very first time we met, which meant she couldn’t directly see the Completion Manual but could feel its presence.

In other words, creatures below the Mythical Rank could neither see nor detect the Completion Manual, while those at the Mythical Rank could vaguely sense it but still couldn’t see it directly.

Could that Giant Eye behind me see the Completion Manual then? If it could... then it... No, it should be referred to as He, was definitely a being of a higher level than the Mythical Rank, a true [God].

Fisher fell silent for a second, then reached over to the table beside him, grabbed a piece of paper, and roughly sketched out the appearance of the ginormous eye from memory. He then placed the drawing in front of Emhardt and asked,

"Emhardt, do you recognize this?"

Emhardt narrowed his eyes, glancing at the sketch Fisher had made, smacked his lips, and with a somewhat stunned expression, said,

"This thing... I seem to have seen it in the South Continent, but not in the Demon’s Abyss, rather in some Human village on the surface, although I’m not certain if it is Him."

"You’ve seen this symbol?"

On hearing the key term "South Continent," Fisher looked at Emhardt with quite a surprise, eliciting a scornful expression from him,

"Tch, who do you take me for? You, a little Human brat, have seen too little; the look of someone who hasn’t seen the world is just ... I saw this symbol back when I was in a Human tribe; they worshipped it as a totem. You know, many things in the South Continent are continuous, and more or less can be traced back to the Dragon Court Period. This God is not an exception..."

"The Humans there call this revered Divine One [Dalasgon], though in the eyes of those Humans, this name is but a code. However, from my rough understanding of the Ancient Human Language, this word meant [Gate] in ancient times."

Fisher raised an eyebrow, chewing over the simple meaning of the word,

Emhardt nodded and explained to Fisher,

"Yes, but no one knows which realm Dalasgon is the gate to. I, on the other hand, think He has something to do with the Spirit Realm, because the local Humans believe that worshiping Him grants rest for the soul and eternal life."

At this point, Emhardt’s tone became a bit more serious; he floated in front of Fisher and spoke,

"Fisher, since you’ve been able to draw His likeness, that means you have seen Him before. In that case, what that silly rabbit saw behind you earlier is real, Dalasgon has been watching you... Although I don’t know the exact reason, I must remind you, a God’s gaze always has a special purpose."

"From the first time I met you, I noticed that the weapon you used was the Ramasitia Fluid Sword from the Ocean, and for an outsider to possess such an item can only mean you have caught the attention of Ramasitia as well. To be noticed by two Divine beings, probably even Paimon doesn’t have such luck, but I can’t say for sure if this is good or bad. You better figure out their purpose quickly..."

Fisher pondered for a second, nodded, took back the piece of paper in his hand, and, holding a pen, wrote a line of text in Nali, then raised it behind him.

Emhardt floated higher, looking at the content Fisher had written on the paper,

"What on earth do you want following me... Fisher, are you an idiot? To directly ask Dalasgon what He wants?! Not even a pig acts ; you know He is following you and still dare to be so bold, aren’t you afraid He’ll kill you on the spot?"

Fisher was undisturbed, as if following him with no malice meant that He definitely needed Fisher’s help. Wouldn’t it be better if He made it clearer?

"What’s the big deal? If He has been watching me all along, isn’t it more appropriate to directly ask Him what He wants? I don’t have the time to go scavenging for clues around the world to guess His intentions..."

"So you just directly wrote it on a piece of paper and asked Him?!"

Emhardt was so dumbfounded by Fisher’s words that he opened his mouth but couldn’t find anything to refute him right away.

Despite waiting for a long time, the piece of paper remained unresponsive; besides the sound of flames consuming fuel, everything was eerily quiet, as if the so-called Dalasgon didn’t exist at all.

"Heh, I told you it would be useless..."

Fine, playing dead? Acting like a sphinx, huh?

Fisher wordlessly set down the paper and, taking up his pen, added a line of text beneath what he had just written,

"When do you plan on fulfilling the favor you owe me?"

After killing Philone, Dalasgon had taken his and Nana’s souls, and in doing so, had made a promise to him... if Fisher hadn’t misunderstood what Dalasgon meant by "owing one."

But during the Saint Nali era, even when he was nearly beaten to death by Erwin, it didn’t show up. Was it that unless Fisher asked, it wasn’t going to fulfill the promise? Or did it know Elliog would come to the rescue?

So, what exactly was this favor supposed to repay him with?

Bodyguard services? Was it following him just to make a dramatic entrance at the critical moment when he was about to be killed, only to coolly save him, say they were even, and then leave the scene?

That sounded far too third-rate. Besides, Fisher dared not bet his life on the existence that was too ethereal to be certain of, not to mention that given the deity’s status, he couldn’t believe it would be that simple.

If it was for some other reason, why was Ramasitia paying attention to him? Because of his relationship with Moli?

Forget it, if that were the case, it should have just killed him, right?

"What? What in the world are you writing? Dalasgon owes you a favor? Do you think you..."

Hovering in midair, Emhardt caught a glimpse of the text Fisher had written on the paper, cast a doubting glance at the composed Fisher, and before he could finish a full sentence of sarcasm, the atmosphere around them suddenly changed.

Fisher’s entire magic circuit lit up instantly, the flames he had just ignited extinguished in a flash, plunging the church in the Northern Realm into utter darkness, but he dared not move, because at that very moment he suddenly felt an extremely terrifying presence behind him.

Emhardt, floating in the air, suddenly shrank into an innocuous book and fell to the ground with a crisp "clatter," lessening the pressure on Fisher’s stiff body a bit.

At that moment, he felt something touching the paper he was holding up. He didn’t look back, but saw stars, vivid and vibrant, slowly creeping through the darkness around him, as if leaking from a colossal gate.

The paper in Fisher’s hand trembled slightly, and after a few seconds, the extremely terrifying oppressive feeling vanished, the room’s flames flared up again as if they had never gone out, only the physiological cold sweat seeping from Fisher’s back reminded him that Dalasgon’s consciousness had just descended behind him.

His body temperature slowly warmed, but his expression remained serene; Fisher could sense that the divine presence behind him had no extra emotions and had simply appeared to give him a response...

Fisher slowly took the piece of paper he had been holding back into his hands and began to read the content.

Where he had just written, the paper was now devoid of his handwriting. However, the ink had been manipulated by some force, twisting into a short, crooked phrase in Nali Language. It read,
