Alessandro shouted, his body bursting with a blue glow, almost instantly shifting sideways over ten meters to appear behind a distant large tree.
With Alessandro no longer in the way, Angela could clearly see the transformation occurring in Green.
Inside Green’s body, something terrifying seemed to be frantically struggling, as one hand emerged, followed by a twisted half of a torso.
Then came a head drenched in fresh blood, and all present were enveloped in an eerie atmosphere, watching as a blood-soaked figure materialized in the center of the space.
He parted his lips, revealing teeth jagged like saw blades.
Angela’s complexion drastically changed, and under the astonished gazes of everyone, the blood on the man’s body was absorbed, exposing his true appearance.
Angela felt her throat tighten.
Inside Green’s body, there was another Green hidden away.
Then who had they just been battling?
Angela’s gaze drifted downwards and noticed that the newly appeared Green’s ankle was connected to a body nearly split in half on the ground.
More eerie still, each breath the man took seemed to cause the body behind him to visibly wither away.
It seemed to be getting absorbed and assimilated.
“Who are you really?”
Angela said, her face full of caution.
A nearly monotone voice rose from the ears of the crowd.
Green bared his teeth, showcasing a perfect smile.
He was smiling, every muscle around his eyes flawless, but the oddity was that this smile made everyone’s heart inexplicably cool.
It was as if he wasn’t smiling, but mimicking.
“What sort of expression is that?”
Green raised his eyebrows.
“This expression is nearly accurate down to each nerve.”
He sighed, “Such things really aren’t suitable for me.”
Flames ignited around Angela; she couldn’t help but glance at Gaharad not far away.
Gaharad clearly understood the emotions flickering in Angela’s eyes and shook her head, “I don’t know, I really don’t know.”
The one sitting in the top-floor room of Mist Manor was a frail, stooped old man, while the man before them was tall and robust.
His body gave off no energy fluctuations, yet somehow, those indifferent eyes placed a heavy pressure on everyone present.

“That was a long time.”
“I needed to live long enough to wait until the barriers weakened and the gateway reopened.”
Green’s throat emitted a strange sound.
“As time passed by, I grew weaker and weaker, and then some clowns began to show up.”
Green’s gaze swept over Alessandro’s face, “Thank you for breaking the seal for me. If it were me doing it, there would always be something missing, a touch of destiny.”
“Now, the timing is just right.”
He positioned his left hand behind him and spread his right hand open.
“So… shall we continue?”
Green looked across at Angela and Alessandro.
“With my current state, it seems a bit difficult to kill you.”
Green sighed, his eyes turned crimson, the muscles beneath his clothes bulged.
A pair of large flesh wings emerged from his shoulder blades, Green lifted his head, the sunlight hitting his face without a trace of warmth.
“It’s irritatingly hot here.”
He opened his mouth, his sharp canine teeth emerging, his lips twisted into a smile.
Not the false imitation from before, but one filled with greed and craving!
“Perhaps your blood will cool me down.”
With difficulty, Gaharad spat out a word, even Angela and Alessandro’s expressions turned very ugly.
All present were High Tier Transcendents; the transformation occurring in Green allowed them to easily discern.
