Roger waved his hand and casually sat down opposite Gawain.

Annie stood up, swaying her hips as she left.

“I want you to do something for me,” Roger replied with a smile.

“Be honest, you must have noticed that surveillance, too.” His finger lightly tapped the table.
“So, no matter where you go, I can find you.”
Gawain clenched his fist but soon could only release it in defeat, as he couldn’t quite figure out what had gone wrong.
“Help me kill someone.”
“Who?” Gawain asked in a cold voice.
“A female sorceress, Margaret, Third Tier.”
“Her?” Gawain was naturally aware of Margaret, but this only made him more perplexed.
“Make it quick,” Roger advised.
“Alright,” Gawain nodded and then gritted his teeth, “the Elder of Shadow’s body…”
Gawain looked defeated.
“Yes, I know, but I was hoping maybe…”
Before Gawain could finish his sentence, Roger flatly refused.
“Aren’t you afraid of what I might do…” Gawain said, slightly indignant.
“As you can see, I am not,” Roger spread his palms out.
“But to show my generosity, I can also do you a favor,” Roger tasted the coffee that Uma’s controlled girl had brought and then pushed another cup in front of Gawain.
“The taste is not bad, don’t miss it.”
Gawain didn’t touch the cup in front of him but just watched Roger.
“I can eliminate the threat from Tamara for you,” Roger said.
It would have been better not to mention this name–upon hearing it, Gawain nearly jumped up ready to turn hostile.
“You dare to mention that name to me? I’ve finally figured it out, did you kill his son and pin the blame on me?” Gawain felt a wave of sorrow in his heart. Ever since he met this man, not one thing he intended to do had come to fruition.
“So, you don’t need it?”
Sipping his coffee, Roger leaned back in his chair.
“Okay then, forget it. As far as I know, Tamara is searching for you all over the world.”
“Her offer is tempting, I must admit, I’m quite moved myself.”
Gawain exhaled deeply, “Alright, you win.”
“I promise to complete the task you’ve given me thoroughly, and I’m also counting on you for the matter with Tamara.”
