Chapter 304: Back on Earth
The sensation of exiting the dungeon was always jarring, but this one was a truly contrasting experience. One heartbeat, it was choking cold, and the next a rush of life and color. Gone was the stench of rot, the stifling shadows of undead-infested halls. They stood instead in a wide clearing nestled in a forest, golden sunlight streaming through tall branches, a crisp breeze rustling the leaves.
The girls exhaled in unison as if they’d been holding their breath for hours.
Aria stretched her arms over her head, tilting her face skyward with a sigh. “Gods, fresh air at long last. How I missed this… That crypt’s smell is going to haunt me forever.”
Luna stomped her boots into the soft grass, clearly relieved. “Ugh. I feel like I need to scrub my skin off to get the stench off me.”
Nyx closed her eyes, inhaling deeply, letting the forest’s fragrance wash the dungeon from her senses. Her usual smirk returned. “Better than perfume.”
And Bastet… Bastet spread her arms wide like a queen claiming her throne, head thrown back, the golden sun pouring down onto her tanned skin. Her tail swayed lazily behind her plump butt as a giant, satisfied smile blossomed across her lips. “Mmm… finally. Sunlight.” She purred the words, basking openly in the warmth.
Kaiden watched them for a moment before his lips transformed into a smile. Seeing his lovers finally out of danger posed by the dungeon and whining cutely about their problems brightened his mood immensely.
But when his eyes found Tessa, the smile faded.
The woman stood still, unmoving. The sunlight touched her, but she didn’t bask in it. Her gaze was cast low, distant.
Kaiden knew why. She’d lost a guildmate today, and worse, at the hands of another.
He didn’t envy her. Not one bit. She had it tough.

Steam rose in lazy curls from the bath, drifting toward the ceiling as Kaiden leaned back against the smooth stone edge. The water was hot, soothing his weary muscles after the brutal dungeon crawl, while four heavenly beauties tended to him with near ritualistic care. At least, some of them. While all participated willingly, their level of devotion differed.
But that didn’t take away from what truly mattered: the numerous soft, dutiful hands scrubbing along his shoulders, chest, arms, legs… every inch of him became polished as if he were a priceless treasure.
His lovers were thorough, but one particular part of him, his Excalibur, seemed to be receiving far more attention than the rest for whatever reason.
Kaiden’s blissful exhale sounded, though his attention wasn’t entirely on them at the moment. A sleek artifact was pressed to his ear, and the voice coming through was loud, petulant, and utterly unrelenting.
“Biiig broooother! Why didn’t you come home after leaving the dungeon?! You promised me!” Alice’s voice wavered between a whine and a sob, her words dripping with the unrestrained obsession only she could muster.
Kaiden sighed, dragging a wet hand over his face. “Alice… I made no such promises. Stop making things up on the fly. Furthermore, I left that place a long time ago. That mansion isn’t my home.”
There was a long, sulky silence on the other end before her voice came back, low and brooding. “… I don’t care! I want to be with you, Kai. Wherever you are, that’s where I want to be! Stop torturing me already!”
The women around Kaiden glanced at each other but said nothing, continuing their pampering with quiet smiles, having great fun while listening to the world’s biggest brocon give their man a great deal of trouble with her neediness.
Kaiden’s tone softened, though he still tried to be firm. “You shouldn’t come here; it poses many risks to everyone. If you are seen, the connection between me and the Ashborn family will surely get out… But… maybe, someday, it can be arranged.”
Kaiden shifted in the bath, one arm still holding the phone to his ear while the other suddenly shot out with predatory precision.
“Eep!” Luna squeaked as his hand caught hers, stopping her pointer finger from poking at his ballsack for the 50th time in the past 20 seconds.
“Nope…” Kaiden murmured with a grin. He freed his phone hand by holding the item between his ear and shoulder, then moved both of his arms beneath her armpits and lifted the woman as if she were a misbehaving kitten.
He used the hold on her body to smoothly guide her hips, turning her away from him. Luna let out a little sigh of ‘of course…’ as she found herself seated snugly against his chest, her back pressed to him.
“You just love putting me in your lap, don’t you? Is this a fetish?” she muttered half-heartedly, but she didn’t protest as his palm swept across her delicate skin, gliding over her shoulders, collarbone, then down her breasts.
The Storm Valkyrie, fierce and relentless in battle, now let herself be pampered.
“You say that, but aren’t you enjoying this way too much?” he teased, earning himself a shy wiggle of her butt.
And yet, Kaiden’s attention inevitably shifted back to the voice whining in his ear. Alice’s shrill cry was impossible to ignore. She was having a mental breakdown.
“Someday?!” Alice screamed, her voice breaking into a high-pitched wail. “I don’t want someday! I want now! I want to sleep in your arms again, just like the old days! And is that the voice of a woman I hear?! Explain yourself!”
Kaiden chuckled, incredibly wryly. That was all he could do.
“Explain myself…? Alice… I have four lovers. You heard Luna just now. But what’s even more important is that you’re a big girl now. It’s not natural for siblings of our age to sleep together.”
There was a sharp intake of breath, followed by a gasp of betrayal. “Big girl? No! Hmph! I’ll always be your little sister! And those filthy creatures? Break up with them all! Right now! I demand it!”
The bath chamber echoed with the sound of her possessive tantrum through the speaker. “Nope. Your demands are denied. Bye now, I have business to attend to.”
“Nooo!!!”
The last thing Alice heard before the line was terminated was water splashing, followed by delighted, feminine giggles.
“Kai, stoooop~ Not there~”
“…” Alice’s eyes trembled. Her delicate hands formed into fists. Her aura oozed nothing but bloodlust.
“I’ll kill them.”
