He went from level 2 to level 3 when he fought the large pack of wolves, and he gained 9 stat points for it. It was one less than the amount of points he got for the Silverback Mauler, but Kaiden was still extremely happy with his gains. It was exceptional for his low level and possibly record-breaking, considering his bottom-of-the-barrel class tier.
However, the numbers weren’t adding up. Kaiden thought that Agility was the most important stat, at least while starting out, so he put 3 into that and 2 into the other physical stats. ’Then how on Earth did my Strength and Endurance increase by an extra point?’ he pondered inwardly before glancing around his room, namely at the three exhausted women, and it dawned on him.
Kaiden went so hardcore yesterday that it was worth numerous long and excruciating gym sessions! His base stats, meaning the stats he would have if he regressed back to level 1 and lost his invested points, had gone up from the many hours he spent plowing his girls’ fertile flower fields!
He found it so amusing that he had to snicker. Whether it was a conscious ’shut up!’ or she just reacted in her sleep, he didn’t know, but Kaiden received another kick to his stomach from his purple-haired lover. He examined her face for a short bit, coming to the conclusion that she showed no signs of it being done on purpose, or her being awake for that matter. Therefore, Kaiden decided to forego dishing out a morning spanking session.
His reactionary flinch caused Nyx to murmur something in her sleep and she tried to turn away from him, but due to his head weighing down on her plump butt, she couldn’t, so she just lazily gave up.
Now it was time to move on to his other notifications.
He first checked out his new sin stance. The one he gained from ranking his system up was Gluttony, and Kaiden couldn’t help but gasp. This one was so damn powerful already!
[Harvest: A passive ability that’s available no matter the stance the Paragon of Sin is currently in. Slain enemies drop an essence orb upon their death. This orb is only visible to the Paragon of Sin. Being in the vicinity of an orb, it will be automatically picked up by the class’ holder. Each orb provides a small stat buff. The orbs will be lost upon exiting combat for longer than 5 minutes.]

[Ravenous Bite: Grow sharp fangs and perform a bite attack on a target, siphoning health and mana from them. Only works on living targets. Passive effect: The Paragon of Sin is immune to diseases transmitted through blood.]
Kaiden instantly fell in love with this stance. When he read the stance’s name, he thought he would be forced to eat food in the middle of combat like a pig or something similarly ridiculous, but this was just badass.
Since his stances were restricted and would slowly be less and less restricted as he leveled up, his Gluttony stance would make him into something like a vampire lord down the line, while his Wrath stance was going to become the proper destructive one fit for a demon lord.
[Harvest] had an innate synergy with [Devouring Strike]. Without the former, the latter was useless. [Ravenous Bite], meanwhile, had no synergy with [Harvest], but it was a very cool ability nonetheless. He hoped his awesome Space Valkyrie would one day grow strong enough to restrict their enemies with her [Telekinesis] or other crowd control spells so that he could just walk up and drain them of their blood.
Now that would be a badass display of power from Valhalla’s Sinners.
Kaiden instantly understood how he was meant to use his two stances. It was best to start out with Wrath and lay waste to his enemies, hopefully stacking his [Harvest] up in the meantime. Whenever he was in trouble, he would switch to Gluttony and regenerate his health, becoming something like a high damage-dealing drain tank.
He couldn’t help but wonder what his tier would be now if he returned for a re-evaluation at the association. Kaiden guessed something like a C-tier. While the synergy was there, at the end of the day, his abilities were still rather basic. Now, his next upgrade would likely come from reaching level 25 and upgrading his two stances, or perhaps the next system rank-up would come sooner?

’Ouch. Yep, this will take a while.’ Kaiden grimaced once he saw the requirements. Although becoming stronger was his main goal, he would take these challenges at the rate he thought most ideal. Panicking and mass releasing porn was not the way to rank his system all the way to the top, it would only help him reach short-term goals but then quite possibly ruin his long-term opportunities.
’Now what’s this quest?’ he murmured inwardly while focusing on it for more details.
