Gu Qingxin’s gaze swept back and forth between the two of them a couple of times. If she didn’t find fault with their situation, she would be genuinely foolish.
But she didn’t say anything, allowed her hand to be held by Beiming Han, and the group continued to walk inside.
After everyone had finished dinner, Huangfu Ye suggested going to soak in the hot springs.
The group got into a small car and headed to the hot spring area. They got out of the car and headed inside.
“Don’t we want to soak together…” The sentence had barely left Huangfu Ye’s mouth when he felt a strong smack on the back of his head, knocking him so hard he was almost disoriented.
“You guys go to the women’s bath, have a good soak, it’s very clean and not open to the public,” Huangfu Ye explained.
Gu Qingxin and Bai Qianqian changed their clothes and wrapped themselves in towels. They entered a small hot spring pool. Bai Qianqian suddenly regretted agreeing to Bai Jingqing’s invite to soak in the hot springs.
Even though she tried to cover herself as much as possible with her hair, she couldn’t entirely hide the kiss marks on her body.
Once they were seated in the water, Gu Qingxin asked directly, “Tell me, what’s the matter between you and Doctor Bai?”
“You’re really with Doctor Bai!” Gu Qingxin, seeing her silence, knew her suspicions were correct. She slapped her forehead forcefully, “Didn’t you like senior Ruiqing! How could you be with… with Doctor Bai…”
Seeing Bai Qianqian’s face change, Gu Qingxin quickly shut her mouth, “I’m sorry; I didn’t mean it that way. I just… are you being forced into something?”
By now Bai Qianqian had nothing more to hide, and she spilled the beans to Gu Qingxin about everything from the start.
After hearing Bai Qianqian’s account, Gu Qingxin didn’t know what to say!

As Gu Qingxin’s comforting words lingered in the air, her face suddenly changed. Bai Qianqian was startled, anxiously looking at her, “What happened?”
“Something bit me!” Gu Qingxin looked down and although the water wasn’t very clear, she could still see a snake biting on her leg.
“A snake!” Bai Qianqian immediately reached out to grab the snake, but before she could, the snake deftly twisted its body and slipped away.
“Qingxin, Qingxin, how are you! Help! Someone help!” Bai Qianqian’s shriek pierced through the air.
Her scream alerted the men next door; Beiming Han arrived almost instantly. He saw Gu Qingxin; who was slowly losing consciousness, his face changed drastically.
