Gu Qingxin held the script and walked toward Ming Shang.
Jack’s mouth transformed into an ‘O’ in shock. My goodness, when did Ming Shang develop such a generous heart? Wasn’t he the one who always hated meddling in unnecessary troubles?
Not to mention a young girl being harassed, even if she was forcibly taken, he wouldn’t bat an eye.
“Little vixen, hello,” Jack waved at Gu Qingxin.
“Hello, from now on, don’t call me that. Just call me by my name,” Gu Qingxin felt strange about his address.
How had she become a vixen?
“Have you read the first scene?” Ming Shang pointed at the script.
Of course, his tone was far from good.
Gu Qingxin immediately shook her head, and weakly said, “There are some parts that I don’t quite understand.”
Impatiently, Ming Shang dismissed her, telling Jack to explain how to act the scenes to her.
Gu Qingxin had her makeup done and started the first scene with Ming Shang.
The director had them simply perform one shot to see the effect then wrapped up for the day after filming.
As Gu Qingxin was leaving, Yang from the manufacturing company approached her once again, inviting her to have a meal together.
Gu Qingxin refused without any hesitation. Suddenly, her wrist was grabbed. Manager Yang sneered, “Stop pretending to be pure in front of me. If you hadn’t slept with someone powerful, would you replace Huang Jiaxin? Do you really think you’re a rich girl?”
Realizing that Gu Qingxin had potentially slept with someone powerful, Manager Yang was even more pissed off. He wasn’t worried about being hurt by such people, hence he could act so recklessly.

“As long as you’re obedient, I guarantee that you’ll have constant advertisements. How about that?” Manager Yang threw out this enticing bait.
“Let go.” Gu Qingxin, suppressing her disgust, took a deep breath and forced out the words.

A scream echoed, startling the crew who was initially oblivious to the situation. Even Ming Shang and his assistant standing near the elevator couldn’t help but turn to look.
Not far away, Manager Yang was hopping around clutching his lower body as Gu Qingxin disgustedly shook her hand free, then without looking back, left.
She then calmly bypassed everyone and entered the elevator, noticing the surprised looks from the others. She looked up and asked, “Aren’t you coming?”
He was the first one to enter the elevator, his agent and assistant followed. The other members of the crew decided to wait for the next one.
“Xin Xin, you’re really awesome! I like it!” Jack looked at her with admiration.
She had quickly gone from little vixen to little Xin Xin.
“Oh yes, Miss Gu, here’s Ah Shang’s car repair bill. One piece of glass costs 200,000. If Miss Gu pays half, that’s 100,000.” Ming Shang’s female assistant pulled out an invoice and handed it to Gu Qingxin.
Gu Qingxin took it and almost had a heart attack. A piece of car glass was this expensive?
Had she known, she wouldn’t have insisted on paying for the damages. Now, she was going to have to use all her savings meant to pay back to Beiming Han’s advertising fee for it.
