“Have you finished eating yet?” Beiming Han looked at the last two noodles left in her bowl and urged her impatiently.
“Not yet… I’ll take you back first.” Gu Qingxin was somewhat frustrated as she lifted her head. It was just a short walk, couldn’t he make it back by himself?

Gu Qingxin finished the remaining noodles and helped the young master to the bed. After making sure he was seated, she straightened up to leave, but Beiming Han reached out to hug her and they both fell back onto the bed.
Gu Qingxin tried to push him away immediately, but his grip was very firm.
“What are you doing? Your injuries are severe. Don’t mess about!”
“What kind of messing about?” Beiming Han blinked at her.
“What are you thinking? I just want you to stay with me for a nap. What were you thinking about?” Beiming Han held her in his arms and intentionally asked.
“…You haven’t taken your medicine.” Gu Qingxin tried to push him away, but it was helpless. Even when he was ill, his strength was far more than she could counter.
“We’ll take it when we wake up.” Beiming Han inhaled her familiar scent and closed his eyes.

Gu Qingxin had got up to fetch the medicine. As per Bai Jingqing’s instructions, she prepared every kind of medicine and handed them to him, saying, “Even though your fever is gone, you still need medicine to heal your wounds quickly.”
She proffered the medicine to him again.
Looking at the colorful medicine in her hand, Beiming Han wanted to refuse, but looking at her clear black eyes, he said, “You feed me.”
Beiming Han opened his mouth and Gu Qingxin immediately crumbled the pills into his mouth, then brought the water cup to his lips.
