If she used her hand to apply it, it wouldn’t be absorbed as well if she was too light-handed, but would hurt too much if she was heavy-handed.
That’s how she applied the medicine yesterday, but she was in so much pain at that point that she didn’t feel too much additional pain from the medicine.
But it was different now. Now it didn’t hurt when she didn’t touch it.
