He wanted to drive her, so she would let him, eager to see what else he could do!
Tang Rongling could feel her impatience. It felt like a knife was cutting at his heart. He hasn’t been able to figure out how their relationship had turned into this messy state.
The residential area was high-end and you needed an access card to enter.
When the car stopped, Gu Qingxin said, “Unlock the door!”
“Can’t we go back to getting along the way we used to?” Tang Rongling asked, hoping against hope.
“Did we ever get along well before? Weren’t you always annoyed with me and ignoring me!”
Tang Rongling’s phone rang. He picked it up. It was Gu Yunci on the other end, her voice gentle and soft, “Ah Ling, where have you been? Why haven’t you come to visit me at the hospital yet? Didn’t you say you’d bring me flowers?”
Tang Rongling turned to face Gu Qingxin’s sarcastic gaze. She mouthed, “Unlock the door!”
“I’ll be there soon, I’m driving!” Tang Rongling ended the call after his reply.
“Hmm~~” The sarcasm in Gu Qingxin’s eyes deepened. She even wondered how many times he has lied to her in the same way.
Watching her sarcastic expression, Tang Rongling’s expression darkened, “This car is newly bought. The passenger seat is reserved for you and no one else.”
“Do you think there’s any point in saying that to me! Who sits in your passenger seat has nothing to do with me.”
“What do you want? A car? A house? Jewellery? Designer brands? Just say it, I’ll give it to you! Just leave that man!” Tang Rongling still wouldn’t give up.
“Unlock the door!” Gu Qingxin firmly pulled at the car door, but having nothing more to say to him, she ended up yelling for help which brought over the security guard.
Out of helplessness, Tang Rongling had to unlock the car door. Gu Qingxin immediately pushed open the car door and left without looking back.
“Miss, what happened? Should we call the police?” The security guard vigilantly watched the car.
“It’s fine, no need. Thank you.” Gu Qingxin thanked them.
It wasn’t until Gu Qingxin’s figure disappeared into the entrance of the residential area that Tang Rongling leaned back in his seat, pulled out a cigarette, and started smoking.
Tonight, Beiming Han still didn’t come home…
