Bai Qianqian also quietly left the hospital without even completing her discharge procedure, she left the hospital all alone.
When the doctor came for his rounds, the patient’s room was already empty. The doctor immediately reported the situation to Bai Jingqing, who only replied indifferently, “Don’t bother with it.”
“Brother, what happened?” After a few days of recovery, Bai Ruiqing was able to sit up slowly but he still couldn’t make any significant movements.
“Nothing. Have you been feeling dizzy these past few days?” Bai Jingqing asked, looking at his brother with concern.
“No, I’m much better now. I should be able to leave the hospital in a few days,” said Bai Ruiqing with a smile.
“With your injuries, you must stay for at least a month. Not one day less!” Bai Jingqing adjusted the speed of the IV drip.”
“Brother, you’re starting to sound like mom, always nagging at me,” Bai Ruiqing protested.
“The nagging is for your own good. Just stay in the hospital and behave.”
“Brother, have you been spending a lot of time with Qianqian lately?” Bai Ruiqing suddenly asked.
Bai Jingqing’s expression darkened, he asked nonchalantly, “Why do you ask?”
“No reason in particular. Bai Qianqian and Gu Qingxin are inseparable best friends. Gu Qingxin is now with Brother Han, and Bai Qianqian often attends your get-togethers. It’s only natural for you guys to see each other often,” Bai Ruiqing continued.
“Not often, just occasionally,” Bai Jingqing replied indifferently.

Seeing that the location was on a small island south of Ming City, and in order to avoid being late, Gu Qingxin asked her driver to start driving early. When she arrived at the pier, she boarded a boat that the production crew had prepared in advance.

The director called over Gu Qingxin first to tell her what scenes would be shot today.
“What? We’re filming the kissing scene today?” Gu Qingxin’s heart gave a hard thump.
“Yes. Is there a problem?” The director raised his head to look at her.
“Don’t be nervous. It’s natural to be nervous the first time. After a few takes, you’ll get used to it,” The director said in a casual tone.
A few more takes? She couldn’t even handle one!
“Director, can we use a stand-in? Or use camera tricks? There are ways to fake a kiss, right?”
Before the director could answer, a roar came from behind them, “You think I want to kiss you! Director, get a stand-in!”
Gu Qingxin was awkward beyond belief and she tried to explain, “I didn’t mean it that way… I can’t film a kissing scene!”
