Bai Jingqing, accompanied by Beiming Han, arrived at the President’s Office. He had learned that Bai Mo had been arrested by the Royal Guard and was now imprisoned.
To save Bai Mo, they had to find Beiming Yu.

Beiming Han and Bai Jingqing entered one after another. Beiming Yu was standing by the window, looking at the large tree outside. Upon hearing their entrance, he turned and said, “Sit.”
“Prepare some tea,” Beiming Yu ordered.
Beiming Han and Bai Jingqing sat on the couch in the reception area, Beiming Yu walked over and asked, “Brother Six, what brings you here in such a hurry?”
“We’re here today to find someone.” Beiming Han replied lightly.
“Oh? And who might you be looking for?” Beiming Yu’s gaze was alternating between the two men.
“Your Excellency, Bai Mo, the youngest son of the Bai family, has been arrested by the guard and is now imprisoned in the jail of the President’s office,” Bai Jingqing informed.
“Bai Mo? The high school student you are referring to? You know him?” A flash of surprise passed through Beiming Yu’s eyes, hidden behind glasses.
“He’s the younger brother of my woman’s good friend.” Beiming Han didn’t bother to beat around the bush. He didn’t believe that Beiming Yu, having arrested someone, wouldn’t know what was going on.
He did not miss that glimmer in Beiming Yu’s eyes.
Beiming Yu knew Beiming Han was smart, and he enjoyed dealing with intelligent people.
What was more interesting to him was that Beiming Han never hesitated to admit, in front of him, that a certain girl surnamed Gu was his woman.
“Your Excellency, what crime did Bai Mo commit for the guard to be used to capture him? ” Bai Jingqing asked, losing his patience.
“Treason.” Being straightforward since Beiming Han had brought it up, Beiming Yu had nothing to hide.
Upon hearing Beiming Yu’s words, both Beiming Han and Bai Jingqing were taken aback. Treason was no minor crime.
“How could it be? How could Bai Mo commit such an act? He’s just an ordinary high school senior!” Bai Jingqing panicked, standing up hastily, but quickly realized he had lost his composure.
Beiming Yu was the President of A Country, while he was just an ordinary citizen.
Fortunately, Beiming Yu did not seem to care and explained, “It’s true. We caught him red-handed, delivering important military secrets of our country to another, and we have seized both the person and the device. Moreover, according to the current evidence, this was not the first time he has committed such a crime.”
The incident at Rainbow Square, where Bai Jingqing was a hero and Bai’s Hospital responded quickly and treated the injured promptly and efficiently, was a major reason why the situation was resolved.
Bai Jingqing was stunned, but Beiming Han remained calm and said, “Take a seat first, then we will slowly discuss.”
Bai Jingqing reluctantly sat back down. The only thought in his mind was how heartbroken Bai Qianqian would be if she found out about this.
Treason and a repeated offender…
If found guilty, there was a chance he could be sentenced to life in prison, or worse, the death penalty.
The palace attendant brought the tea, bowed respectfully to the three men, and slowly backed out of the room. Once out the door, she turned and left.
Beiming Yu waved his hand for the guard to close the study room’s door. Now, only the three of them remained, surrounded by the aroma of tea and wafts of smoke. Yet, the atmosphere was exceptionally heavy.
“Your Excellency, may I see Bai Mo? I would like to speak with him,” Bai Jingqing requested.
“According to the rules, it’s not allowed… but I’ll make an exception. You can visit him tonight,” Beiming Yu thought for a moment before agreeing.
