Bai Jingqing’s voice was very steady, without any trace of panic or tension. Upon hearing his voice, Bai Qianqian also quickly reacted, surprisingly not as flustered as she initially was.
“Senior Rui Qing…” Bai Qianqian stood up, her hands still coated with medicine.
“A pervert? What pervert? Qianqian, are you okay?” Bai Ruiqing responded, stepping forward anxiously to look at Bai Qianqian, then at the medicine on the table, understanding dawned on him.
Qianqian was a very kind girl, it was normal for her to attend to her older brother’s wounds.
“Brother, you shouldn’t have! Qianqian is still a young lady, how could you let her apply medicine on your body? This isn’t right! Qianqian is someone’s girlfriend after all!” Bai Ruiqing turned to look at his older brother, reprimanding him.
“I’m fine, she was just making a fuss!” Bai Jingqing calmly put on his shirt.
Noticing that Bai Qianqian was alright, Bai Ruiqing finally relaxed.
“I’ll go first, I won’t disturb you guys.” Bai Qianqian felt a strong sense of guilt for deceiving Bai Ruiqing in this way.
“I’ll see you out!” Bai Ruiqing offered.
“Didn’t you come to me because you needed something? Speak!” Bai Jingqing stopped him.
“Oh, right. I almost forgot… Mom has arranged a blind date for you. I’m afraid if she called you, you wouldn’t go. So she asked me to tell you directly!” Bai Ruiqing said.
Upon hearing this, Bai Qianqian couldn’t help but turn back to look at Bai Jingqing. Bai Jingqing was also looking at her. She hurriedly turned her back and quickly left his office.
“I’m not going!” Bai Jingqing flatly rejected.

In the bathroom, Gu Qingxin washed her face carefully. Only when she was sure she didn’t appear any different, did she finally come out.
The door of the condo rang and Gu Qingxin’s heart clenched. The door opened and Beiming Han’s tall figure stepped in.
Gu Qingxin stared at him, stunned for a few moments before quickly walking over, then, feeling awkward about her abrupt movement, she stopped and said, “You’re back.”
“Hmm.” Beiming Han answered, his eyes fixing on her while trying to loosen his tie.
“I’ll do it.” Gu Qingxin stepped forward, taking over his task. Beiming Han released his hold, looking down at the girl in front of him. Gu Qingxin was carefully undoing his tie, and then she unbuttoned his suit, helping him to take off his jacket as well.
Beiming Han unbuttoned his cuffs, rolling them up a bit. His intense gaze remained fixed on Gu Qingxin’s back, a glint of something unusual flashing through his eyes.
