Bai Jingqing had been following the mother and daughter, chasing them all the way downstairs.

“Did you recognize the elderly man standing with Doctor Bai?” Gu Qingxin asked tentatively.
The floor they were on was exclusive to VIPs, and everyone who could stay there was far from ordinary. Back then, only Bai Jingjing and Lord Beiming were in the hallway.
Her mother’s strange behavior couldn’t possibly be due to Bai Jingqing, so it had to be because of Lord Beiming.
