Devilish secretary Chapter 102

Sebastian Alexander pulled the car to a stop a short distance away from the building. His jaw tightened as he glanced at Lilith, who was casually adjusting her bag, completely unbothered.

"Don’t forget, Human Doll, we’re just professional here," she teased, stepping out of the car with a small smirk.

Sebastian didn’t reply, his gaze fixed ahead, but his expression was clear—he was not happy.

As Lilith disappeared into the crowd, he exhaled sharply, clenching his fists for a moment before instructing the driver to head toward the building.

By the time he entered the lobby, his face was like carved stone.

Cold. Unreadable. Intimidating.

His sharp, icy aura immediately made heads turn, and whispers rippled through the staff as he walked past.

Sebastian’s long strides and powerful presence made even the bravest employees look away, too intimidated to meet his gaze.

Taking his private elevator to the top floor, he entered his office without sparing anyone a glance.

The moment he stepped inside, his eyes scanned the room. Most of his team was already present, busy with their morning routines.

But a sudden thought struck him, and a wicked smirk curled at the edges of his lips.

If Lili wants professionalism, let’s make sure she experiences it.

Sebastian adjusted his cuffs, his dark gaze gleaming with a mischievous edge as he strode toward his desk.

He had plans.

And they weren’t just about work.

As Lilith walked onto her floor, she glanced at the clock and realized she was five minutes late.

Not a big deal, she thought casually, heading toward her workstation.

The office was busy, with most employees already at their desks, focused on their work. Lilith adjusted her bag and was about to sit when a cold, commanding voice stopped her in her tracks.

"Miss Lilith!"

She froze, turning slowly to see Sebastian Alexander standing near his office door, his arms crossed and his gaze as cold as steel.

"You’re five minutes late," he said, his sharp voice echoing across the floor, making several employees flinch and glance nervously in her direction.

Lilith’s lips twitched, the beginnings of a smirk threatening to form, but she quickly masked it, schooling her expression into one of mild regret.

"Sorry, sir," she said, her tone professional, though the glint in her eyes betrayed her amusement.

Sebastian’s gaze didn’t waver, his eyes narrowing slightly as he took a step forward.

"Sorry?" he repeated, his voice dropping lower, laced with authority. "I don’t pay you to be late, Miss Lilith. Within five minutes, I want you in my office with my coffee."

His eyes swept over the room, his sharp gaze silencing the quiet whispers of the other employees.

"Back to work," he ordered coolly, and everyone hurriedly buried themselves in their tasks, not daring to meet his eyes.

Lilith gave a subtle nod, her expression neutral, though inwardly she couldn’t help but think: So, this is how you want to play, Human Doll? Fine.

"Understood, sir," she replied smoothly, turning toward the breakroom to prepare his coffee, her steps unhurried but confident.

Sebastian watched her retreating form for a moment, his lips twitching into a small, barely noticeable smirk.

Let the game begin.

Lilith returned with the coffee, walking confidently through the office despite the pitiful glances the employees shot her way.

They think I’m in trouble, she thought, suppressing a smirk. How cute.

Reaching Sebastian’s office, she knocked lightly on the door, her knuckles tapping against the door.

"Come in," came the low, husky voice from inside.

Lilith pushed the door open and stepped in, her eyes immediately landing on Sebastian, who was seated at his desk.

His head was bent over some papers, fully focused as his pen moved smoothly across the page. He didn’t look up even once when she walked in.

She walked forward, her heels, newly bought by her Human Doll, clicking softly against the floor, and stopped in front of his desk.

"Sir, your coffee," she said, placing the cup gently on the desk in front of him.

Finally, he raised his head.

His dark eyes locked onto hers, and for a moment, the air in the office seemed to shift.

Sebastian leaned back slightly in his chair, his gaze intense as it roamed over her face.

"You’re learning," he remarked coolly, his tone calm but filed with subtle amusement.

Lilith raised a brow, her expression calm but her lips twitching slightly. "I aim to please, sir," she replied smoothly, emphasizing the title with just the faintest hint of sarcasm.

Sebastian’s lips quirked ever so slightly at the corners, but he said nothing, picking up his coffee and taking a slow sip.

Lilith stood there, her piercing blue eyes watching him with quiet confidence.

"Anything else, sir?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, as though daring him to prolong the moment.

Sebastian set the cup down, his gaze still fixed on her.

"For now, that will be all, Miss Lilith," he said evenly, though the flicker in his eyes suggested he was far from done.

Lilith nodded and turned to leave, but as she reached the door, his voice stopped her.

"And, Miss Lilith..."

She paused, glancing over her shoulder.

"Don’t be late again," he said, his tone low and firm, but there was a glimmer of something else in his expression.

Lilith smirked faintly.

"Of course, sir," she replied, walking out without another word, the faintest bounce in her step.

Let’s see how long you can keep this act up, Human Doll, she thought as the door about to reach door, she heard behind.

"Wait—Miss Lilith," she heard his voice call out just as she was about to step out of the office.

Her brows raised slightly as she turned around, meeting his intense gaze.

"Yes, sir?"

Sebastian straightened up from his desk, still holding the coffee cup in his hand.

"Since you were late," he said, his tone calm but firm as he began walking toward her, "you need to be punished. So that other employees won’t dare to repeat the same mistake."
