Kiri placed the card on the table face up.
Becky’s eyes went wide.
The Chariot meant going after victory and having guts in battle.
Even though this wasn’t some official reading, from a fortune teller’s point of view, chance meetings often showed fate way clearer.
"Customer, what do you wanna know? Money, power, strength, or..."
Kiri said dead serious:
"I want to know the odds of a plan I’m about to pull off working!"
Becky’s face scrunched up:
"Customer, this shop doesn’t do readings for that kind of stuff."
If plans went south, customers usually came back pissed off and demanding answers.

Kiri slammed down a bag of gold coins she’d found in some secret room of an abandoned courtyard.

But Becky stuck to her fortune-telling risk rules and fought to look away.
"Customer, it’s not..."

Becky’s eyes were glued to them. She was totally torn inside.
Kiri slammed down three more bags of gold coins one after another.
Just as she was about to slam down the seventh bag, she suddenly came up empty and grinned sheepishly:
"If that’s not enough, I’ll get more later!"
The Destiny Witch’s reading prices were all over the place.
If she liked you, she’d read for free.
If she didn’t, no amount of money would get you a reading.
Kiri remembered her future self—to figure out how to stop the Eternal Annihilation Demon King from showing up, she’d gone totally broke, and her heart still hurt thinking about it.
On the table, six bags of gold coins sparkled with golden light, so damn tempting.
Enough to shake Becky’s risk limits!
"Well... alright then. Everything’s fate pulling the strings. I’ll make an exception for you today!"
The second she finished talking, Becky waved her hand and the gold coins on the table vanished into thin air.
Another wave, and tarot cards, crystal balls, and other fortune-telling gear all appeared—the whole nine yards.
"Customer, what kind of reading would you like?"
Kiri looked confused at the... um... stuff on the table.
No psychic vibes—could they actually work?
She remembered when she’d gotten readings before, there weren’t any tools.
"Tarot cards, I guess."
The Destiny Witch doing this obviously had her reasons.
Becky gave some mysterious compliment.
She picked up the tarot cards looking all serious.
With one sweep of her hand, all the tarot cards scattered in a circle around the center.
Then Becky started shuffling in some specific pattern.
In just seconds, the tarot cards were a neat stack again.
"Customer, please think silently about your plan and what you want to know while you cut the cards."
Kiri closed her eyes and focused, splitting the tarot cards into three piles.
Becky restacked them in some special order.
"Customer, following what your heart tells you, please pick your card."
"Which one should I pick?"
Obviously, which card she chose would totally affect the reading result.
But none of these tarot cards gave off any spiritual vibes.
With no other choice, Kiri randomly grabbed a card and flipped it.
The same warrior driving a chariot into battle.
The moment the card showed up, Becky pretended to think deep, lowering her eyelids with some mystical voice:
"In the future, your plan will charge forward like a chariot, constantly moving ahead to bring you victory.
But if you get too greedy, everything will flip around.
That’s your reading result."
After talking, Becky kept her serious pose, quietly waiting for the customer to process it.
She thought this speech she’d recently cooked up was absolutely bulletproof.
Vague as hell—talking about both success and failure, no matter how the plan went, Becky had explanations ready!

"Customer, are you questioning my reading results?"

Kiri figured the Destiny Witch was treating her like some regular local, planning to scam her.
She said straight up:
"Cut the act. Through certain channels, I already know you’re the current Destiny Witch! Put away these cheap tricks."
"Destiny Witch, how’d you find out this info?"
The fortune-telling gear on the table disappeared.
Becky frowned, staring at the girl in front of her.
She’d only recently awakened for the first time. Besides herself, nobody else knew.

Kiri put her hands together in prayer:
"Everything is fate’s call!"
Saying that was like saying nothing. Becky said helplessly:
"Even though I don’t know how you figured it out, I can only be called a Fate Witch right now, not the Destiny Witch you’re talking about."

The sacrifice is still alive, meaning the Black Sinners’ fake king monster hasn’t shown up yet!
Right now, Black Sinner power is still pretty weak—this is the perfect time to wipe them out!
Instantly, a plan formed in Kiri’s head.
If she’s still alive, she’s gotta be locked up in the Black Sinners’ hideout!
She had to rescue the Fate Witch’s close friend and wreck the fake king’s summoning ritual!
Kiri’s eyes changed as she said urgently:
