When it stood up again, Fang Zheng could clearly see that the fur on King Kong’s chest had been scorched black by the Lightning Arrows, yet the gorilla seemed completely unfazed by the pain and once again charged at Fang Zheng.
Indeed, there’s something off about this gorilla.
By this time, Fang Zheng had come to a conclusion. Bear in mind, he had just used a Fifth-Level Spell, the Lightning Arrows, and it was the Ultimate Version no less. The winds howled around him, swirling into a giant Lord of Wind Elementals that charged at King Kong once more.
Faced with the suddenly appearing Lord of Wind Elementals, the King Kong showed no sign of backing down. It swiftly shifted its target and, opening its arms, charged toward the Lord of Wind Elementals, engaging in combat with it.
The Lord of Wind Elementals, made up of whirlwinds, could easily tear apart mountains and blow away warships. However, in front of this great ape, it seemed so fragile and unable to withstand a single blow, just as Fang Zheng had anticipated. The roaring gales filled with magic power could hardly affect the great ape at all. On the contrary, a casual punch from King Kong would burst apart a section of the Wind Elemental Lord’s body.
After several minutes of continuous brawling, the Wind Elemental Lord could no longer hold up and dissipated into fragments of magic power in the air.
After the experiment, Fang Zheng also gained some understanding of the King Kong before him. Evidently, for some unknown reason, this great ape possessed terrifyingly high magic resistance, almost no different from that of giant dragons. Spells from the Prophecy System, Spellcraft System, and Protection Class were essentially ineffective against it; only Shaping Type magic could inflict some damage.
