"Do you have any idea that the last thing I want is a call from you?"
Captain Yang, who picked up his cell phone, said irritably, as the team members nearby all looked up at him. They were curious who could make the usually strict captain show such a helpless expression.
"What?! Are you serious?!"
"Okay! I’ll contact them right away!"
"You take over, I’ve got something else to do! Tell the office to temporarily raise my operation’s security level!"
Without time to explain, Captain Yang spoke to the deputy captain and immediately turned and left. Watching their captain leave in a hurry, everyone was somewhat surprised, not understanding what could have happened to make their leader act this way.
"Aren’t you leaving?"
Feng Yuan glanced at Guo Huai and asked. After a sidelong glance at Feng Yuan, Guo Huai said in a low voice,
"I’m kind of curious..."
"Either get involved or restrain your curiosity."
Feng Yuan said calmly, as Qi Chen looked at Lorraine Tower and Gitalien leaning against the wall deep in thought, and whispered to Feng Yuan,
"Is it really okay to wait here?"
"It’s fine; my concealment, along with Lorraine Tower’s and Gitalien’s interference, are in effect. No one will notice this place."
As Feng Yuan spoke, he gestured with his eyes. Only then did Qi Chen notice that the classmates around them didn’t seem to be aware of what was happening here, all busily engaged in their own activities.
"Do you need my help?"
Feng Yuan, looking at Agunas and holding his forehead, said,
"Do you think your power, intertwined with Lorraine Tower’s, won’t make them suspicious?"
Unlike Feng Yuan’s authority, his was not something Divine Beasts could detect. It wasn’t strange for Lorraine Tower to use its power here, as most Divine Beasts knew that Feng Yuan loved to ask for Lorraine Tower’s help.
If Agunas’s power and Lorraine Tower’s appeared at the same time, it would be hard for them not to be suspicious since, apart from dealing with big issues like with Odinis, there were hardly any modern situations that required Lorraine Tower and Agunas to act together.
Without making Feng Yuan wait for long, the phone rang again, but...
"Can we stop with the codes, please?"

Qi Chen was a bit surprised, and Dou Yanlan said with a slight smile,

Lorraine Tower interrupted Feng Yuan, as very few people knew the human forms of Lorraine Tower and Gitalien. Only a handful in Maomu City were privy to the truth.
Feng Yuan said and gave an address to Gitalien. For Gitalien, who controlled the authority of space, knowing the address was just a matter of stepping through a Space Gate, as long as it wasn’t some special location.
Seeing Gitalien open the Space Gate, Feng Yuan said to Dou Yanlan. Seeing her looking at him, Qi Chen said with a gentle smile,
"Good luck. If it gets too tough, just come back."
With a smile, Dou Yanlan didn’t say much else, watching as the four of them stepped through the Space Gate. Qi Chen, somewhat puzzled, turned to Guo Huai and said,
"You’re not going over?"
"I’m not cut out for that stuff, and knowing too much isn’t always a good thing."
Guo Huai said nonchalantly, touching the Wolf Tooth necklace on his chest, as Qi Chen murmured,
"Knowing too much, huh..."
He understood what Guo Huai meant somewhat. Feng Yuan kept revising history, and not many in this world knew about it. Although it seemed unrelated to him, he sometimes feared waking up one day to find everything changed dramatically around him, like what happened during the Yognot incident.
"Would I be happier if I knew nothing at all..."
"Hey, what are you thinking about? Wouldn’t you be afraid of getting secretly screwed over if you knew nothing?"
Guo Huai looked at Qi Chen, puzzled. He always felt that there was something odd about him, but without the Wolf Tooth necklace, he couldn’t comprehend Qi Chen’s feelings, and thus couldn’t think of a reason.
"What is this place?"
Feng Yuan surveyed his surroundings with some curiosity. It seemed to be an underground structure, and the walls, mixed with some unknown materials, greatly suppressed his Divine Sense; at least his current Divine Sense couldn’t penetrate these walls.
"You guys actually..."
Captain Yang was speechless as he watched Feng Yuan. He had assumed that Feng Yuan and his group would arrive by transport and was arranging for someone to guide them, but they had directly opened a Space Gate and come through.
"Isn’t using a gate faster? Is it strange?"
"There are measures to block Space Ultimate Techniques here. How did you..."
Elder Li looked over the four people speechlessly. He recognized Feng Yuan and Dou Yanlan, but he didn’t know the two middle-aged men. However, he assumed Feng Yuan wouldn’t bring irrelevant people with him.
"You don’t think you can block Gitalien’s Space Gates, do you?"
Feng Yuan spoke with a strange expression, believing that they would have known Gitalien was by his side. Gitalien, looking around disdainfully, said,
"Such blocking methods are useless against me."
"You are... Gitalien?"
An employee there exclaimed in shock—the fact that Lorraine Tower and Gitalien had human forms was a long-standing legend but had not been clearly confirmed.
Nodding his head, Gitalien said,
"Now that you’re here, I’ll go back first. Yanlan is curious about this matter; if possible, let her know a little about what’s not so secret. Anyway, she’ll definitely follow Lorraine Tower, so there’s no worry about leaking secrets."
Feng Yuan told Captain Yang and nodded his head. Elder Li responded,
"Aren’t you staying with us?"
"No, I don’t want to know about this kind of thing; I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to bear it," Feng Yuan replied.
Understanding his sentiment, Elder Li nodded. Feng Yuan made no attempt to hide his nature, and the Elder was well aware of Feng Yuan’s situation. Like he said, after learning of their plans, he might not bear it and act accordingly.
Taking advantage of the Space Gate that Gitalien had not yet closed, Feng Yuan rushed into the Space Gate, saying,

Just as the Space Gate closed behind him, Feng Yuan patted his head with some regret. Qi Chen glanced at Feng Yuan and said,
"Yanlan told me about it; I’ll take care of it for her during this time."
"Huh? She told you already?"
Qi Chen said, casting an annoyed glance at Feng Yuan. Meanwhile, the students around were busy practicing and had not noticed what was happening here. Guo Huai, not knowing when, had already left. Knowing some of the truth behind them, he had decided not to pursue the real story any further.
"Wonder what they’ll do~"
Feng Yuan said, curious. Agunas thought for a moment and replied,
"Not sure, but they might just warn them in secret. After all, they really aren’t suited for an outright announcement of protection for Great Xia."
After all, they were the region’s strongest Divine Beasts; it would have been too conspicuous to declare protection for Great Xia.
