Davis inwardly smiled and thought that he would be dead soon enough if he only possessed Essence Gathering Cultivation in his arsenal. Davis’s lips twitched as he realized that they were still going to mess with him, even after he displayed his prowess that was at the Sixth Stage.
The Low-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizard didn’t even want to communicate but he belatedly understood why...

Davis’s index finger plunged into its brain while his fists slightly scraped its horn.
An implosion occurred in the Low-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizard’s head and blood erupted from its orifices, staining Davis’s arms.
He pulled his finger out of the brain he pierced through and launched himself to the next location with an explosive step.

This was the battle technique he used to kill this Low-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizard. He had learned this technique in the past but only got it to use for a few times when he assassinated evil fiends as Dead End.

Because he sensed that those two Peak-Level Saint Beast Stage Three-Winged Venomous Lizards were currently on their way! They were strutting off the undulations as if trying to establish dominance and even an angry cry erupted in the distance.
Davis was unfazed but that couldn’t be said the same about Evelynn.
Evelynn trembled on hearing those monstrous cries. Her body shuttered as she instantly became worried about her husband.
Inwardly, she knew that her husband didn’t even need to care about those Seventh Stage Cultivators since he had those paper talismans capable of killing them through some strange means.
However, she also knew that recently her husband used three such paper talismans to mysteriously kill the three bastards who had harassed her in the Conferred King Tournament.

Nadia suddenly turned startled by Evelynn’s cry but shook her head, "He instructed me to protect you."
"You!" Evelynn became tongue-tied. She rapidly thought but failed to think of a viable method to convince Nadia in her panic.
Abruptly, she closed her eyes and screamed, "I don’t care what happens to me! Aren’t you our Magical Beast Mount!? Listen to my words as well!"
Nadia blinked her large eyes, feeling that Evelynn had a point but still... She looked at Evelynn and saw that she was almost going to let out tears at this point.
Davis looked at the incoming guests and smiled at them. Their purplish-white bodies along with their reptilian eyes were pointed at him.
’Even now, they are still going to attack me en masse?’ Davis felt nervous and exhilarated at the same time. Their undulations had inadvertently suppressed him to a great degree.
Seeing that their gaze was still full of killing intent, he uttered no words to the group and targeted one of the two leaders and pointed at them, "Your life is mine!"

Nadia had also said something similar about appeasing its dead kin with the Crowned Violet-Winged Condor’s corpse. Maybe it was already a custom for Magical Beasts to take revenge at this point to appease the souls of their kin.
