When Tristan Grayson arrived, he saw two police officers standing inside the suite.
His face was cold as he entered the suite. Walking closer, he saw Cassian Jennings sitting on the sofa, smoking with his head down as if nothing had happened. On the table in front of him lay a bloody fruit knife.
After he entered the room, Cassian Jennings extinguished his cigarette. Then, he looked up and gave him a faint smile. "You’re here..."
Tristan Grayson nodded and asked in a cold voice, "What happened?" ’Although Cassian Jennings liked to fool around, he would never do something so reckless.’
Besides, no one in Tridell would dare to risk their life picking a fight with Cassian Jennings.
"Someone was bullying Gia, so I stabbed him." Cassian Jennings stood up, exceptionally calm, and shrugged with a feigned look of helplessness.
"..." ’They bullied Gia? The daughter of the Miller Family?’ Tristan Grayson’s expression turned impossibly foul. To do something like this for a woman like her...
"Young Master Grayson, may we take Young Master Jennings away now?" The only reason the two officers were still there was to wait for Young Master Grayson.
Now that he had arrived, they wouldn’t dare take the man away without his permission.
If this had been for anyone else, Tristan Grayson would have forcibly kept him here. But as things stood, he saw no reason to. "Take him away! Take him away right now! Also, Master Jennings, stabbing someone with a knife requires a mandatory 24-hour detention before he can be released."
"Rest assured, Young Master Grayson. We wouldn’t dare release him before the 24 hours are up," the two officers replied with a laugh, finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.

Tristan Grayson followed him out with a sigh of resignation. He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone, and glanced at the time. It was just after 6:00 PM. ’He wondered if Henry Archer had found that woman yet.’
At that thought, Tristan Grayson looked at Cassian Jennings walking ahead and suddenly felt an impulse. ’He should have the police lock him up for a few more days. It would serve him right for constantly stirring up trouble.’
’Of all the people to befriend, he had to pick a woman like Gia Miller.’
BEEP BEEP... Just then, Tristan Grayson’s phone rang.
He averted his gaze and answered the call. "Hello."
"I’m the one who arranged the incident with Gia Miller," a voice said directly from the other end of the line.
Tristan Grayson wasn’t surprised. He got into his car, sat in the driver’s seat, and nodded. "I figured."
"She dared to upset Amelia, so I made her life difficult!"
"But Cassian Jennings stabbed the guy." At this, Tristan Grayson gave a cold laugh.
"I know. That’s why I’m calling. Cassian Jennings won’t dare tell his family, so he’s bound to ask you for help. You’re not allowed to help him. Let him rot in a cell for ten days to half a month. He can get out when I’m back."
’Ten days to half a month?’ The corner of Tristan Grayson’s mouth twitched. "You’re too ruthless..." ’And here he thought he was being too soft, only asking for a 24-hour hold.’
