Tristan Grayson didn’t stop. "This is your punishment for disobeying me."
"I didn’t..." ’If he hadn’t abandoned me, I never would have left with my brother.’
"It doesn’t matter if you did or not. You will accept it." As he spoke, he suddenly pulled her into a tight embrace and silenced her with a kiss.
Tears streamed down her face as she shook her head, trying to refuse. "Mmph... Mmph..."
But Tristan Grayson wouldn’t allow her to refuse. Overwhelmed by his forceful assault, she lost all her strength in less than three minutes...
Eventually, perhaps from sheer exhaustion, she passed out completely.
The next day, Mika Summers was shaken awake by a ringing cellphone.
She sat up, her eyes still heavy with sleep. Glancing around, she frowned in confusion. She didn’t know when she’d been moved from the sofa back to the bed.
BEEP BEEP... The phone was still ringing. But... ’That doesn’t sound like my ringtone.’
She turned her head. Sure enough, the phone ringing on the nightstand was Tristan Grayson’s.
The moment she realized it was Tristan Grayson’s phone, an intense curiosity washed over her. ’Who could be calling him this early in the morning?’ With that thought, she reached for it. But before her fingers made contact, she snatched her hand back as if she’d been zapped by electricity. ’Even if someone is calling him,’ she thought, ’I have no right to look.’
Just then, the sound of a running shower, SPLASH SPLASH, came from the bathroom. Moments later, Tristan Grayson walked out.
With a cold expression, he glanced from the still-ringing phone on the nightstand to the woman sitting on the bed. His handsome brows furrowed deeply.
When Mika Summers saw the dark look on Tristan Grayson’s face, she knew what he was thinking. ’He must think I was trying to snoop on his phone.’ A pang of guilt hit her, and she opened her mouth to explain.
But just as she opened her mouth, her eyes shot wide open in shock. She found herself staring, unblinking, at Tristan Grayson’s body.
Tristan Grayson was standing there completely naked.
Having just showered, water droplets were still trickling down his body.
Being so openly scrutinized by a woman, even a man as composed as Tristan Grayson couldn’t maintain his calm.
A blush crept up his handsome face. He shot an irritated glare at the woman on the bed and asked in a low, hoarse voice, "Like what you see?"
"Huh?" Mika Summers clearly hadn’t expected him to ask that. She snapped back to her senses with a jolt. Realizing how boldly she had just been staring, her face turned a shade of red she’d never known possible. On pure reflex, she threw herself back down on the bed and pulled the blanket completely over her head, pretending to be asleep.
’Oh my god, what just came over me? How could I stare at Tristan Grayson’s body so shamelessly?’
’He’s probably going to think I’m some kind of pervert now.’
Watching her reaction, Tristan Grayson found he wasn’t angry. Instead, he thought she was... cute.
The thought startled Tristan Grayson.
’I actually thought that woman was cute? I must be going crazy.’
’What part of this woman is cute? There’s not a single thing about her that’s cute... And last night, she was like a dead fish...’
