Hearing her words, Liu Ergou felt a mix of happiness and anger. He was happy because of what she'd said but angry that this damned venomous snake had ruined his plans. But now is not the time to dwell on that. He immediately lowered his head, pressing his lips to her thigh.
Feeling the sensation on her thigh, Hui Hui instinctively placed her hands on Liu Ergou's back, clutching his clothes tightly. Her nervous demeanor only added a unique allure to her.

Just as he was about to say something, he felt a wetness on his nose and instinctively raised his hand to wipe it away.
As soon as his hand went up, Hui Hui saw it. "Ergou… s-stop… I'll wipe it for you!" she said softly.
She took a handkerchief from her blouse pocket and carefully wiped the moisture from his face. After she was done, Hui Hui couldn't bring herself to look him in the eye, her cheeks as red as the evening sky.
Liu Ergou didn't notice this. Instead, he looked down at her wound. The area, which had been red, swollen, and black, had already improved significantly now that the poisoned blood was gone. Only a slight redness and swelling remained.
As he was about to look up, the view of the valley next to the wound caught his eye, nearly pulling his gaze into its depths. The valley seemed to be calling to him, and he found himself leaning closer, bit by bit.
Hui Hui noticed this but didn't stop him. Instead, she closed her eyes in anticipation.
