Dominate the Super Bowl Chapter 410

Nantz's mind went blank, completely devoid of thought, relying solely on experience and instinct, the fervor and frenzy within him burning fiercely.

He let it all out in one long breath, releasing his emotions unrestrained, his face flushed as though he had downed a bottle of red wine in one gulp—dizzy and disoriented, yet unable to contain his joy.

"The Kansas City Chiefs stood in the end zone, facing a challenging three-yard starting position, confronted by the Jacksonville Jaguars' determined breakthrough."

"The Kansas City Chiefs sounded the horn for a counterattack."

"Three hits, three tackles, one close press—surprisingly, the Chiefs' rookie running back number twenty-three managed to break free, pushing forward despite losing his balance."

"Finally, Li Wei completed a long-run of one hundred and three yards, rushing to the touchdown."

"After a first quarter of intense collisions and entangled struggle, just when the Jacksonville Jaguars seemed poised to completely overwhelm their opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs were struggling at the brink of collapse."

"Yet unexpectedly, it was the Kansas City Chiefs who broke the deadlock first."

"On the brink of crisis, at the lowest of lows, the Kansas City Chiefs' offense showcased their boldness once again, with Li Wei almost single-handedly turning the tide."

"Following a season that could only be described as perfect for a rookie, Li Wei continued his top-notch performance in the playoffs, playing a crucial role for the third consecutive game."

"Undoubtedly, the skill and talent displayed by Li Wei once again drew all eyes to the running back, more frenzied than any other season."

"We only have one question: Is there anything Li Wei can't do?"

"The balance has been disrupted, meaning that Marrone might need to alter his strategy—if the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense doesn't adjust, the pace of the game could very well shift in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs."

"This American League championship game is getting exciting."

With grandeur and fervor.

Nantz couldn't contain himself; the spark they had all been waiting for had finally ignited. Although the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense wasn't particularly impressive, the pressure was now truly on them.

All because of the figure standing in the end zone, looking like a deity descended from the heavens.

And it wasn't just Nantz who felt that way.

The players of the Kansas City Chiefs' offense were shocked and astonished, each eyeing the beast in the end zone with incredulity.

Kelsey was the first to act, kneeling down in front of Li Wei, signaling a gesture to his knee.

Li Wei, intuitively understanding, placed his right leg on Kelsey's knee.

Then, Kelsey, smiling broadly, began to polish Li Wei's shoes.

Following closely, other players also knelt on one knee, deliberately making obsequious faces as they looked up admiringly at Li Wei.

They hadn't expected it either, no one had—that this ground advance, looking repeatedly like it would end in a fall, would result in Li Wei miraculously pushing into the end zone.

This scene made the defensive group players burst into laughter.

Houston turned to his teammates, straightening his posture, "Did you hear that? The Edgerunner has spoken; now it's our turn to fulfill our duty."

A couple responded with the indigenous hunting slogan.

Houston paused, his gaze landing on Revis. They were still not familiar with each other, having little interaction beyond training, but the last game had indeed brought them a bit closer.

Originally, Revis had been a substitute rotation player, but this week, Reed promoted Revis to the starting lineup to fill the gap in the Kansas Chiefs' perennially weak pass defense—an opportunity Revis had fought for himself.

Thinking it over, Houston decided to be proactive and play the role of captain, "Ready to show the young ones what 'Island King' is all about?"

Revis glanced at Houston, his face full of pride, "Those young ones still have a lot to learn."

The "young ones" referred to here was Ramsey.

Ramsey had more than once publicly stated that his only idol was Revis, not just as a cornerback but in all positions of Football, he always considered Revis to be the closest to the perfect Football player.

Today, Ramsey and Revis were competing on the same field, vying at different positions.

Now, Houston was provoking Revis.

Revis didn't show it outwardly and responded with a direct comeback, but his focus sharpened—

The Jacksonville Jaguars Offense would likely seek a counterattack, avoiding letting the Kansas City Chiefs pull ahead, so the next moments would be a time for their Defense group to show their strength, cementing the opening that the Offensive group had worked hard to create.

Both Houston and Revis turned their eyes toward the opposite side of the field.

"Next up, what's noteworthy is how Marrone will adjust the offensive tactics."

Romo pointed out the key issue, but upon seeing the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive formation, his eyebrows furrowed involuntarily.

Something seemed off.

"Marrone has not changed the formation, still using the standard pistol formation; let's see if the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive tactics will undergo any changes."

"The Jacksonville Jaguars' first and ten still opt for a running play, but this time, the Kansas Chiefs' Defense accurately predicted the tactics, focusing intently on ground defense and stopping it right away."

"Running back Fournette's run was somewhat dull. It was evident that he was a bit hasty, but his mind wasn't keeping up. The coordination for this running play wasn't good, and the Jacksonville Jaguars needed to make a change."

Fournette lay sprawling on the ground, not to speak of advancing, but losing two yards instead, including Houston, three players cracked the Jacksonville Jaguars' running strategy, intercepting Fournette immediately with no chance at all—it was almost like hitting a wall.

The dull progress on the ground, Fournette's own impatient mindset was part of the reason, while the Jacksonville's offensive line and receivers' tactical coordination were another part, and the opponent's early identification of the offensive tactic was the fundamental reason; the situation still had not opened up.

Struggling, Fournette prepared to get up, when he saw Houston politely extend his right hand, hesitated for a moment, but took Houston's hand to stand up. Fournette could've never anticipated that Houston would give him a hug and whisper in his ear,

"Had a blast playing."

Instantly, rage surged, and Fournette's face turned beet-red, looking like he could explode at any moment, fiercely glaring at Houston, then turning his head toward Li Wei who had been quietly observing the field dynamics from the sidelines.

Fury continued to surge:

After an entire season of arduous waiting, finally facing Li Wei head-on, was he really going to continue to be stifled?

Li Wei had already taken the lead in breaking the deadlock; now it was his turn to explode. He would prove he was a part of the triumvirate, he would prove that the Jacksonville Jaguars choosing him was the right decision, he would prove that he was as good as Li Wei, even better!
