Dominate the Super Bowl Chapter 831

Chapter 831: 830 Moments of Eternity Chapter 831: 830 Moments of Eternity Left. Right. Then left again.

The coordination between Li Wei and Watkins was dazzling, leaving the defense scrambling. Van Noy was caught in a mental tug-of-war, overwhelmed—

Defend Li Wei, Watkins is open.

Defend Watkins, Li Wei is open.

At that moment, Van Noy saw Jason McCourty abandon Kelsey and charge forward. Looking up at the sky, he instinctively followed suit.

A streak of reddish-brown arched through the sky, slicing through the heavens, soaring majestically towards the End zone.

Van Noy’s heart tensed up, just as he prepared to accelerate. Suddenly, two crimson figures crossed paths again right before his eyes—Watkins cut inside, Li Wei outside—leaving him in their dust in an instant.

So, Li Wei or Watkins?

Van Noy couldn’t hesitate any longer. Clenching his teeth and steeling his resolve, he turned to chase after Li Wei, only to realize:

Li Wei had been toying with Van Noy’s judgment, exploiting even the briefest hesitation. Even a millisecond was enough.

Planting his foot, channeling his energy, Li Wei launched into a full-speed sprint.

He unleashed every ounce of speed as he tore past Van Noy, racing towards the End zone—

Without holding back, with absolute focus.

In the blink of an eye, Li Wei was nearing the End zone.

With a quick glance backward, Li Wei tracked the football’s trajectory against the sky. He had created enough separation—either Watkins or himself—and now it was up to Mahomes’ second read to make the right decision.

One second. Hold your breath.

That reddish-brown arc, like a meteor across the deep blue sky, silently yet irresistibly drew all eyes upward, ensnaring attention completely.

Majestically, it soared downward, speeding toward Li Wei’s position.

Belichick’s heart clenched: Stop him!

At that moment, a streak of white lightning burst across the field from the opposite side, slicing through with unparalleled speed, like an untamed stallion unleashed, whipping up a storm as it went.

In the critical moment, Chung Family had read Mahomes’ passing lane, decisively abandoning Hill and throwing everything into a lateral sprint, burning through his energy reserve like wildfire.

Watkins was startled and instinctively tried to intercept Chung Family.

But Chung Family bulldozed forward in a straight line, forcefully shoving Watkins aside. The slight delay in his sprint dissolved in an instant.

At the final split-second, Li Wei, with his back to the End zone and facing the flight path of the football, felt an intense wave of heat rushing in from his right.

Just one step, and Li Wei dodged Chung Family’s deadly hit.

At the same time, both of Li Wei’s feet were now firmly planted in the End zone.

Chung Family watched helplessly as his target vanished, lunging forward into empty space. He reached out with his left hand, aiming to slam into Li Wei, hoping to take him down with him.

In that moment, white collided with red, generating an explosive force.

Li Wei felt an impact on his right arm—before he could even register the pain, the entire right side of his body had gone numb, the sensation fading entirely.

Li Wei had no time to think. Instinctively, his body reacted, rotating counterclockwise with the force of Chung Family’s tackle and pull.

The overwhelming force threatened to topple Li Wei’s balance, with an unrelenting drag almost pulling him to the ground.

Li Wei used his left foot to stabilize, accelerating his rotation as much as possible.

Most importantly, he kept his body within the boundaries of the End zone.

The margin for stepping out was half a step at most, a razor’s edge of precision, where even the slightest miscalculation could spell disaster.

Ninety degrees. One hundred eighty degrees. Two hundred seventy degrees.

His body spun rapidly, the solitary stance resembling a single-legged dance, as his gaze locked on the descending football overhead.

Li Wei held his breath, twisting as he spun, using his shifting weight to assist his extension. Stretching his arms far out, his eyes stayed laser-focused on the football.

Three hundred sixty degrees. Five hundred seventy degrees. Six hundred thirty degrees.

The big toe of his left foot had already gone numb, his body teetering on the edge of control, seemingly about to topple over. But Li Wei gritted his teeth, holding his breath, keeping his frame light and poised.

His mind, crystal clear.

The football, now falling, aligned with his fully extended upper body. Finally, his hands reached out—grasping the meteor securely.

But his balance was lost—

His feet. His feet. His feet.

Li Wei’s body tilted drastically forward, angled at forty-five degrees as he neared the ground. He took a small step forward with his right leg—

Precariously halting within the End zone boundary, maintaining complete control. Then his left foot followed, toes lined up perfectly.

Like a ballet dancer, he froze at the far corner of the End zone’s right side.

First the right foot. Then the left.

At the same time, he clutched the football tightly, raising it triumphantly like the Holy Grail for all the world to see.

Time stopped in that moment.

Li Wei defied gravity, challenging Newton’s laws of motion, elegantly reenacting Michael Jackson’s iconic moonwalk.

Just a millisecond, only a fleeting millisecond.

Then, time resumed as gravity yanked Li Wei’s body down—

Soaring through the air.

He vaulted high, then crashed hard, tumbling uncontrollably. Rolling like a bowling ball, he slid towards the sideline’s buffer area, disappearing entirely from view.

Silence. Complete silence enveloped the stadium. Not even the wind could be heard.

The Arrowhead Stadium stood quietly in the corner of Kansas City, yet it felt like Atlantis, drawing every eye to this singular moment. One by one, they held their breath, their hearts skipping beats, eyes wide in desperate search of the vanished figure.

That figure emerged, rising slowly, hoisting the reddish-brown meteor aloft once more. Bruised and exhausted, Li Wei stood tall and unwavering, his gaze fixed on the End zone referee as the crowd collectively held its breath.

The referee in the End zone extended his arms straight up, pointing to the sky with unwavering authority.

A voice erupted, shattering the silence, igniting an explosion that rocked the entire world.

The frenzy was so overwhelming, so wild that the sound became indiscernible, leaving only a deafening buzz swirling in the eardrums.

But in their vision, fans clearly saw countless faces at Arrowhead Stadium erupting in joy—unadulterated jubilation, absolute happiness, uncontainable excitement, and sheer delirium. Everything poured out without reservation. No words could encapsulate this moment; there were only screams, unabashed, unrestrained screams.

It all felt surreal. The entire stadium was ablaze and roaring, yet the world seemed oddly silent, like a frozen comic strip, with images but no sound. And still, the madness and heat were unmistakable.

It was almost enough to burn through one’s heart.

Touchdown. Game-winner.

Victory belonged to the Kansas City Chiefs.
