Don't Fall For Me, CEO Chapter 191

A few minutes later, Nina Quinn emerged from the bathroom.

Her face was even paler than white paper.

A large portion of bangs stuck to her cheeks, looking utterly disheveled.

Sue Chase quickly stepped forward to help brush the bangs to the side.

"Nina, what’s wrong with you?"

"Grandma, it’s nothing, just a bit of an upset stomach."

Perhaps the recent live stream of Nathan Jacobs had profoundly disturbed her; her appetite had been quite poor lately.

She couldn’t even tolerate some peculiar smells.

Yet, Sue Chase was still worried after hearing this: "I feel like it’s not just an upset stomach?"

Nina raised her head in surprise, catching Sue Chase’s anxious gaze landing on her stomach.

Could her grandma suspect she was pregnant?

Although she had been living almost like conjoined twins with Nathan Jacobs for some time, they always took precautions; there was absolutely no possibility of pregnancy.

Yet her grandma suspected she was pregnant.

This felt pretty awful.

Especially since she and Nathan had already broken up.

"Grandma, don’t overthink. I’m still a virgin; how could I..."

She didn’t finish the sentence.

Sue Chase felt slightly relieved after hearing Nina’s explanation. Follow current novels on novelFɪre.net

"Still a virgin is good. A girl shouldn’t be too casual, or she’ll suffer losses in the future."

In her heart, Nina rolled her eyes dramatically.

It’s such an old-fashioned saying, in this day and age, it’s so unlucky to hear it.

But she maintained a smile on her face: "Grandma, I’ll remember what you said!"

"It’s good to remember. Your complexion is so poor; better go upstairs and rest."

Nina had long wanted to get away from Sue Chase, so she quickly headed upstairs.

However, she didn’t return to her room but went directly to her mother Amanda Ford’s room.

Seeing Amanda Ford applying skin care at the vanity, Nina went forward and hugged her arm.

"Mom, how long are Grandma and Grandpa staying in Westmarch?"

With Sue Chase and Henry Ford there every day, she didn’t dare invite friends over for fear they might learn about her embarrassing grandparents.

Especially since Sue Chase liked to manage her, Nina felt increasingly stifled.

So, she wished they could return to their backwoods as soon as tomorrow.

"Probably another week. Your grandpa has an appointment with the Divine Doctor at Rosewell Hospital, and it’s not until the end of the month."

Until the end of the month, it’s two more weeks.

So long that she could hardly breathe.

Seeing Nina look dejected, Amanda Ford frowned.

"Nothing, I’m just worried that when Grandma and Grandpa leave, the house will be cold and empty, and no one will play with me."

Nina hadn’t forgotten that Amanda and Charles Quinn said they’d give her Old Master Quinn’s shares because she was well-behaved and filial.

So, she dared not show any sign of being unfilial in front of Amanda or Charles.

Not even towards Sue and Henry.

"What’s the problem? If you don’t want Grandpa and Grandma to leave, Mom can let them stay a bit longer."

After all, they were her parents, and Amanda naturally hoped for more time with them.

It was just that Charles didn’t seem very fond of the two, so Amanda couldn’t say much.

But now, Nina’s words gave her a reason.

But hearing this, Nina quickly responded, "Mom, no need."

She had just casually mentioned, trying to show her filialness to her grandparents, but hadn’t meant to shoot herself in the foot.

Yet after speaking, she worried Amanda would realize she didn’t actually like Sue Chase and Henry Ford, so she quickly added, "Grandma and Grandpa also have their own lives; forcing them to stay in the city won’t make them happy."

"No, if they knew you feel this way, they’d stay with you no matter what."

Amanda Ford just finished speaking and started walking outside.

"I’ll convey your words right away; I guess your grandparents will stay for you a bit longer."

"Mom, no need!" Nina quickly got up to stop her.

But Amanda Ford was already happily heading downstairs.

At this point, it’s evidently too late to stop her.

Really shot herself in the foot.

Nina felt deeply regretful.
