"These are the reports from Manager Wright, Manager Nova, and Director Paige. Also, these documents need your signature."
But Kyle glanced at the already sorted files and asked coldly, "Who pays your salary?"
"Of course, you do." Mason was dumbfounded by the question but answered honestly.
"I thought your salary was paid by them. Otherwise, why would you do whatever they tell you to do?" The man spoke coldly.
Mason swiftly started to retrieve the documents: "I’ll just take them back and slap them in their faces."
He wanted to prove with his actions that he was perfectly clear-headed.
Just as he’d gathered half the files, he suddenly heard Kyle ask, "Do you know what’s going on when a woman was always looking for you but suddenly stopped sending you messages these past few days?"
