Wufu had never expected that right after she’d fought to the death to take down a big insect, not even getting the chance to touch its fur or savor the victory, a Yellow Finch would swoop in, eyeing to devour her prey?
But there, beside the fallen creature, knelt a man, his eyes gleaming with fervor as his shaking hands reached out to the big insect that lay lifeless, caressing it with the reverence one would show a treasured possession, so excited that he completely ignored Wufu and the others.

"You want to steal our big insect?" Liu Jin glared at him, fury clear in his eyes.
The corner of the hunter’s mouth curled up coldly, "Kid, if your fur isn’t fully grown, don’t try playing the hero." His gaze then switched back to Wufu, his eyes continually darting, "The kid can go, but you, stay."
Without a second thought, Liu Jin stepped in front of Wufu, slightly tilted his head and shouted, "Miss, run fast!"
Wufu froze for a moment, then the corner of her mouth curled up as she looked at the small figure before her.
Liu Jin’s action was instinctive, instinctively believing that the hunter harbored ill intentions toward his miss and wanting her to escape without thinking, having forgotten Wufu’s abilities.
At that moment, all he thought was the man was a tall and powerful male, and Wufu was just a girl; if she fell into his hands, she would surely be humiliated.
Wufu felt a warmness in her heart, and did not regret taking this boy under her wing.
