Upon hearing Hu Liena's request, Qian Renjue rolled his eyes in exasperation.
At that moment, the Soft Bone Rabbit also realized that a collar had been placed around its neck, and something seemed to be flowing into it from the collar.
"Squeak, squeak—!"
(What is this? I don't want it, Xiao Wu doesn't want it!)
The Soft Bone Rabbit panicked, flailing its front legs, trying desperately to remove the collar.
In its panic, the pink orb it had been holding fell onto the bed.
"Senior Brother, where did you get this collar? The rabbit doesn't seem to like it…"
Hu Liena grabbed Qian Renjue's arm, looking at the glowing golden collar with shining eyes. Smiling, she asked sweetly, "Senior Brother~ If it doesn't want it, can you give it to me instead?"
"No way!" Qian Renjue flicked Hu Liena on the forehead.
This was a Beastmaster Collar—how could a proper young lady wear such a thing? If anyone saw her with it, they'd think he was mistreating her.
"Ouch…" Hu Liena pouted and rubbed her forehead. Suddenly, she noticed the rabbit had frozen, standing motionless like a statue. Puzzled, she pointed at it, asking, "Senior Brother, what's wrong with it?"
"Hm?"
Just as Qian Renjue was about to turn around, the rabbit snapped back into motion.
"Squeak, squeak—!"
(Wow, what kind of treasure is this?)
Now, the Soft Bone Rabbit was no longer frightened.
Instead, it was curiously nibbling on the collar. The collar flickered, turning pink, and the orb was absorbed into it.
The Soft Bone Rabbit grew even more excited.
"Squeak—!"

Qian Renjue looked at the rabbit in bewilderment.
It seemed like he could suddenly understand its nonsensical chatter.
Meanwhile, his left hand started to burn, and when he looked at his palm, he saw a golden collar mark flashing on it.

Suddenly, a golden chain shot out from Qian Renjue's palm, linking to the collar around the Soft Bone Rabbit's neck.
"Wow! How incredible~" Hu Liena clapped her hands in delight, fascinated by the magical device.
Not only could it change color and store things, but it could also extend and retract!
"Squeak—!"
(Ah! What's happening? Let me go, Xiao Wu doesn't want this!)
Clang!
As the chain retracted into his palm, the Soft Bone Rabbit was pulled into Qian Renjue's grasp.
Its red eyes were wide with panic, while his violet eyes glimmered with amusement and surprise.
"This is amazing!" Hu Liena excitedly clapped her hands again.
"Squeak, squeak!"
(You little brat, stop poking me, haha!)
The Soft Bone Rabbit struggled as Hu Liena poked its belly, her face flushing with excitement.
She then looked at Qian Renjue and coquettishly said, "Senior Brother, Senior Brother, let me play with it too, okay? I want to try it out!"
"Nana, stop fooling around. Senior Brother isn't playing," Qian Renjue sighed, rubbing his forehead.
He hadn't expected the collar to be able to change color and store things either.
Though it seemed fun, it was meant for controlling beasts.
"Okay…" Hu Liena pouted, a bit dejected. Qian Renjue sighed in relief before asking, "By the way, weren't you supposed to be at Spirit Academy?"
"Yes!" Hu Liena nodded enthusiastically. "My classes are shorter than yours, so I finished and came back."
Then, Hu Liena remembered her real purpose. "Oh, right! Teacher sent me to help you organize things. Have you finished? I can help!" she offered eagerly.
"Heh, I'm almost done." Qian Renjue smiled and ruffled her hair, wanting to distract her before she said anything else foolish.
He glanced around and pointed to the clothes hanging by the window. "How about you help me bring those clothes in and put them in the closet?"
"Sure, I'll do that right away!" Hu Liena joyfully agreed, quickly running outside.
Soon, she would be living with her Senior Brother, seeing him every day!
The thought made her so happy that the collar's novelty could wait.
Watching her excitement, Qian Renjue shook his head and chuckled. "If only she could always be this obedient," he muttered.
"Squeak, squeak!"
The Soft Bone Rabbit looked toward Hu Liena, taunting her.
(That little brat still drinking milk wants to take Xiao Wu's treasure? Dream on! But this chain is really annoying!)
Qian Renjue shook the little rabbit, grumbling, "You noisy little thing."
"Squeak—!"
(Xiao Wu isn't noisy…)
He pulled at its cheeks, frowning. "You think you're clever, huh? Lucky for you, I'm letting you live."
"Eep!"
Hearing this, the rabbit immediately stopped struggling and frantically shook its head, eyes wide with gratitude.
"Heh…" Qian Renjue chuckled.
The fact that the rabbit treasured something that could threaten its life was beyond his expectations.
Still, its foolishness was somewhat amusing.
He decided not to tell it the truth for now—ignorance is bliss, after all.
"You could have remained this naive forever, but you won't be able to soon," Qian Renjue said, shaking his head.
The Soft Bone Rabbit was puzzled, not understanding why he called it stupid, but Qian Renjue's sincere tone made it question its intelligence.
"Don't understand? That's okay, you still have time."
Qian Renjue smiled and retracted the golden chain.
"For the next five years, I won't harm you."
The Soft Bone Rabbit's eyes brightened with excitement.
(Really? You're not lying, right?)
"I'm not lying," Qian Renjue assured, petting the soft rabbit.
"Squeak—!"
The rabbit squealed in disbelief.
(You can understand me?!)
Qian Renjue smiled but didn't answer. Instead, he wondered aloud, "Do you think in five years, I can 'tame' you, silly rabbit?"
The Soft Bone Rabbit, still processing the previous revelation, found itself deep in thought.
(Tame and boil… those aren't the same, right?)
"Let's see how it goes," Qian Renjue sighed, tossing the rabbit back onto the bed.
It was still figuring out how to behave like a person, so its confusion was understandable.

The rabbit squeaked gratefully, not fully comprehending but understanding that Qian Renjue intended to keep it safe.
(What—!)
Suddenly, the Soft Bone Rabbit squealed as Qian Renjue grabbed its ears again.
Turning to Hu Liena, who had returned with clothes, he instructed, "Nana, when you're at home reading or studying, take this rabbit with you. It can understand human speech, got it?"
"Got it, Senior Brother! I'll make sure to teach it well!" Hu Liena, though surprised, eagerly agreed, excited by the idea of teaching a rabbit—even if it was absurd.
After all, Senior Brother had just said this was 'home'!
She was now part of Senior Brother's home!
