"Don't worry. Jun Tianlin was badly injured yesterday. Even if he has level 58, he can't use his full power," Hu Liena stabilized her team.
Xie Yue looked to their support soul master Xu Yu and ordered, "Proceed as planned."

The Pagoda and Begonia specialized in amplification and healing, respectively, but the Scepter was versatile: boosting, healing, even restricting. Its amplification and healing weren't as strong as the other two, but it was comprehensive.
If the Pagoda and Begonia were specialized, the Scepter was broad. No one could predict what kind of support a Scepter user could provide.
"Fourth spirit skill, Light Seal!"
Xu Yu's four soul rings shot toward Emperor Battle.
"Not good, scatter!" Yu Tianheng shouted. He didn't know what it was, but it couldn't be good.
The three at the front scattered, but the rings locked onto Tianlin—this was a targeted skill. In the tight arena, escape was impossible.

Of the three theorists present, only the Grandmaster, the lowest-level, was still confused.
This Light Seal was a skill that sealed soul rings. Using their rings to lock the enemy, the target couldn't use the corresponding skill, and their physical stats were weakened.
Their real target was Tianlin's third ring. Sealing his Flow of Wind and Water would free Hu Liena and Xie Yue's fusion, Charm Demon.
There was a limit: the sealed ring couldn't be of a higher year than the user's ring.
Xu Yu knew Tianlin's rings were all beyond standard years, so he used two rings to seal one: his fourth ring (4,800 years) plus his second (700 years) exceeded Tianlin's third ring (5,500 years), successfully sealing the Flow of Wind and Water.
His third ring (1,500 years) sealed Tianlin's second ring (1,000 years), disabling the Ice-Fire God Seal as well. Tianlin's power was sharply reduced.
Xu Yu's 400-year first ring went to Yu Tianheng, sealing his first ring.
"Bastard, am I just an afterthought? Outrageous!" Yu Tianheng raged. Only after Tianlin was targeted did his ring get sealed.
"Fifth spirit skill, Death Lightning!"
Angry, Yu Tianheng unleashed his fifth skill; black, liquid-like lightning formed a dragon, attacking Xu Yu. If he defeated Xu Yu, the seals on Tianlin would break.

Spirit Hall was ready. Yan used his fifth skill to block Yu Tianheng.
The two attacks were evenly matched. As a fire-earth dual-attribute top martial soul, Flame Lord was every bit the rival of Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon.
"Brother, attack!" Hu Liena called.
They couldn't miss this chance. With the Flow of Wind and Water sealed, nothing could stop their Charm Demon.
They merged, becoming a long-haired, androgynous figure. A terrifying red mist spread, enveloping all Emperor Battle members.
Spirit Hall cheered. Except for Jun Tianlin with the Flow of Wind and Water, no one had escaped Charm Demon before.
Now Tianlin's trump card was sealed—what could he do?
"Tianheng, lead everyone forward, out of the Charm Demon's area!" Tianlin shouted.
In the red mist, all attributes were halved; they would be helpless against Hu Liena and Xie Yue.
Retreating separately was the right move.
"Want to escape? No chance!" said the mixed voice of Hu Liena and Xie Yue, controlling the mist to chase them, aiming to defeat the others first and save Tianlin for last.
"You wish! Second Form: Heavenly Cycle!"
Tianlin used the Shu Mountain support sword move, forcibly redirecting the red mist's target to himself.
Now, outside, it was Emperor Battle's six versus Spirit Hall's five; inside the mist, Tianlin alone against Charm Demon.
"Jun Tianlin, impressive as always. Even with your third skill sealed, you still found a way to counter us. But that's not enough. We'll deal with you first!"
For Hu Liena and Xie Yue, as long as Charm Demon remained, the order didn't matter.
"Come, let me see if your crude martial skills have improved," Tianlin attacked first, using the Earth Shatters move of the Seven Kill Sword, smashing down with tremendous force.
"Seven Kill Sword again? You think that will work on us?" Xie Yue sneered. With skillful control, his left-hand Moon Blade easily blocked the blow.
His right Moon Blade slashed at Tianlin's arm from a strange angle.
There was no time to retreat. Tianlin jumped, raising his right leg to block the attack.
The Moon Blade bounced back from the impact.
"A soul bone!" Xie Yue hadn't expected Tianlin to have a right leg bone, which allowed him to block so easily.
"Just a right leg bone. Avoid his right leg and attack elsewhere," Hu Liena said calmly.
Xie Yue lunged again, using bizarre blade techniques against Tianlin's Seven Kill Sword. He wasn't at a disadvantage and, empowered by the fusion, began to suppress Tianlin.
He had improved over the years—no more being easily toyed with by the Seven Kill Sword.
But Tianlin had more than just the Seven Kill Sword!
