"I have something that bothers me a bit, though," Ryuk suddenly stated as they turned to look at him.
"With every race leaving for their world, and the Fallens choosing to do the same... can we be sure that their original world will accept them back with open arms?" he asked, his brows tightening slightly in concern.
"I mean, it's been more than a century since the rift opened into the other world and sent any of the races in here—and I think their original world would have probably marked them all dead already from the unexplained phenomenon."
"If you all suddenly return after two or three centuries, how certain are you that they'll smile and allow you into their ranks once more?"
"To accept that the people they have termed dead... are now back and living?"
"And since there's no change of mind, or a return portal back to Endetah in case of rejection, I think it's a question that must be well considered as they could very well end up in chains or tagged as an anomaly on their return... and they'll eventually be trapped in their own world too," Ryuk said, before casually taking a bite of his food with his fork.
But while he was relaxed, the same couldn't really be said for Morgabine. She turned to look at her parents and saw that they weren't as worried as she was.
"Your question is an important one, and it's already been considered by the Ten Families," the half-Fallen one said, and Ryuk nodded.
He had expected it to be something they must have already thought through, but better to be safe than sorry.
"And to be fair, the original world truly would be alarmed that the people who had been lost to a particular phenomenon have all been allowed in."
"I guess it will be up to them to figure out how they'll convince their own people."
"But we Fallens will have no problem."
"Our world is more advanced and already aware of the phenomenon. As much as it may seem unbelievable, there are some high-ranking people back in the true world who look up at the sky expecting us to one day return. This will be nothing but a dream come true for them."
"So, we'll be fine. The Fallens at least."
"As for the other races, I don't know much... but I also don't care much," she said, as Ryuk chuckled at her uncaring attitude before nodding.
"Then it's settled? We'll be leaving for the Fallen World—as a family?" she asked, and they all nodded before they continued their family breakfast.
A darkness deeper than darkness.
Silence overshadowed all, its supreme king.
But then, it faintly stirred as two beings appeared in the void.
Yet, even though they were but an anomaly, they seemed as if they had been birthed by the void—or as if they were the void itself.
They were pitch black—so black they almost melded perfectly into their surroundings, clad in robes darker than the darkness itself.
But if there was one thing easily noticeable amongst them, it would be their eyes.
Crimson-red, scanning through the entire void as they remained motionless for a while.
Then, slowly, silently, they began to descend through the Void.
They continued endlessly downward, time and distance unknown, until eventually, they came to a stop. Beneath their feet lay a pitch-black platform with cracks where a certain liquid flowed.
A crimson red liquid.
Slowly, their hands phased out from the robes, revealing ginormous claws—claws that seemed powerful enough to cleave entire worlds apart, covered in crimson-red runes.
Slowly, one of their clawed hand, the left one, went to their chest as their heads silently bowed before words rang out:
"O Fortis, qui vastitatem Theth'Vorgath transgressus es."
O mighty one, who has crossed the desolation of Theth'Vorgath
"Nuntium grave tibi attulimus, quod tibi magni momenti esse putamus."

Their voices echoed through the darkness, the sound like iron scraping against iron—echoing far into the dark void—like the cries of thousands of demons.
But at the end of it—
The sound of chains clattering rang out heavily, almost as if something was being unfurled.
A spine-chilling noise, as could be guessed from the trembling bodies of the three entities.
Then something slowly uncoiled itself from the darkness.
Something so dark, it was like only it held illumination in this pitch darkness.
What was horrifying was that only what seemed to be its head emerged from the darkness it resided.
A face slowly came down from the sky, staring at the three.
The sound of their bones quivering echoed through the void—a silent testament of fear. And then, came the words.
Words so thick, the entire void trembled under its weight:
"Loquere, et solus ego iudicabo an verba tua sint digna gravitatis meae."
Speak, and only I shall decide if your words are worthy of my seriousness.
His words brought with them the clanking of chains, as the three dark entities, still bowed—spoke out their message:
"Septima Calamitas, Zar'kul..."
The 7th Calamity, Zar'kul...
"...tabulum vitae amisit.".
..has lost his life plate.
"Post incursionem triumphalem in orbem..."
After a conquering raid on a world...
"Orbem... quem suspicamur eum tenuisse."
A world we suspect may have held him...
"Filium Theth'Vorgath..."
The son of Theth'Vorgath.
After these words, the sound of clanking chains rang out once more—powerfully—shaking the entire Void.
But no other sound followed, as the void slowly cooled... and the three entities continued:
The body of the lost one...
"Cui signum imposuimus...".
..on which we had affixed a signal...
"Iam signum non reddit..."
...no longer returns any signal.
"...systema ossium evanuerit..."
...the skeletal system has vanished...
"Aut...receptum sit."
...or been reclaimed.
They ended, and the entire void fell into a silence.
A deep, oppressive silence—worse than it had ever been before. One that gnawed at the mind, a warning of life-taking danger.
And it continued... seemingly eternal... until it was broken.
A voice that sent all three into full-body shudders, their spines tightening in horror.
An overwhelming sensation of death.
