"Call the assistant."
Ye Xian smacked her forehead.
She was really panicking.
Xiao Lu lived right in the hotel with the film crew, and she took such great care of her every day. She definitely would have noticed when her bracelet was missing.
Ye Xian called Zhou Lu.
Zhou Lu was asleep, groggy as she listened to the end of Ye Xian’s explanation. She became slightly more alert, "Bracelet? I haven’t seen it on your wrist, Brother Ye, for a week now. I thought you had put it away."
Ye Xian was completely stunned.
It had been lost for that long, and she had only just realized it!
In despair, the young man hung up the phone. Bo Tingshen crossed his arms slowly and asked her, "What did they say?"
"It’s been lost for a week."

Ye Xian felt like crying.
It was worth millions, and her second older brother had specifically instructed her not to lose it.

"I won’t. CEO, you’re surely just teasing me. Begging won’t help."
Ye Xian looked down, visibly unhappy.
Bo Tingshen pulled out his phone, "Oh, then I’ll just call Ye Shaowen and tell him you lost the bracelet he gave you."
Ye Xian looked at him in shock. Was this even human? She was already so heartbroken, and he was still trying to kick her when she was down!
"CEO, that’s too much!"
Ye Xian sprinted over and snatched the phone from him, "What have I done to deserve this from you!"
"Let me ask you again, do you beg?"
Ye Xian had never before met someone who insisted on forcing others to beg him with such a demanding tone. He was completely nuts! If he weren’t her boss and if she could actually beat him, she’d really like to give him a combination punch right now!
"No, I will not beg! I’d rather die than beg!"
Bo Tingshen: "Fine, I’ll help you."
"In the wardrobe, count from the left, the third drawer. There’s a champagne-colored box inside. Bring it here."
"What are you waiting for?"
Ye Xian walked into the wardrobe, confused.
Why had the CEO suddenly agreed to help her? She hadn’t promised to beg him. Could there be a trick? Or did the CEO recently start liking tough-and-sassy bootlickers?
She opened the wardrobe, and the array of expensive suits, watches, and ties dazzled her, the scent of wealth assailing her nostrils.
She pulled open the third drawer and indeed saw a small champagne-colored box.
What did the CEO want with this box?
Ye Xian placed the box in front of him, and Bo Tingshen gestured for her to sit down. "Open it."
Ye Xian looked at him warily and slowly opened the box, fearing some kind of prank.
With a ’click’, the lid opened, and inside, a conspicuous, beautiful pink diamond reflected the bright crystal light overhead, radiating a dazzling brilliance.
