DxD: The Replication System! Chapter 31

Replicated Ability: Hell Fire (C), Kendo Talent

Replicated Item: Boosted Gear (B+)[Original]

Dimension Points: 1,086,031

"Mastering new skills bumped me up level?" Roy mused.

Unlike replicating Kiba's Middle-Class Demonic Power, the boost wasn't dramatic, but he felt sharper.

Over the past four days, training alone, Roy noticed finer control over his body and growing strength.

Today was the first day of school.

Checking his phone, Roy slipped into Kuoh Academy's uniform and headed out.

Unlike the quiet summer break, the campus buzzed with life.

The gates swarmed with students, girls making up 70-80% of the crowd.

Kuoh Academy, once a girls' school, had gone co-ed just over a year ago, skewing the gender ratio.

"Look, that guy's kinda hot…"

"He's in a second-year uniform, but I've never seen him!"

"Transfer student, maybe?"

Walking toward the gate, Roy felt eyes on him, a stark contrast to his summer visit.

Girls cast curious glances, whispering about his identity.

It wasn't surprising.

Roy's looks were striking.

His appearance drew attention.

"I swear I've seen him before!"

"Spill! We can't let those other girls get ahead!"

"During break, I saw him with Kiba-kun."

"Second year's winning!"

The girls were bold, pointing and chattering, some starry-eyed.

A few even nudged friends, daring each other to approach Roy.

The boys, far fewer, blended into the crowd, shooting envious glares.

Roy ignored the attention and hurried to the teachers' office.

His goal at Kuoh was clear: get dimension points from key characters.

Passersby weren't worth his time.

Having toured the school with Kiba, Roy knew its layout well.

At the Academic Affairs Office, he reported in, took a quick academic test, and was led to his class.

The classroom was lively, students buzzing about their summer.

"Quiet down, everyone."

"We have a new classmate today," the homeroom teacher said, clapping for attention.

"Transfer student? At the start of term?"

"Bet it's a cute blonde girl!"

"Nah, gotta be a hot guy."

"I heard a new second-year guy was at the gate. Maybe him?"

The announcement sparked chatter, with students guessing the newcomer's gender.

"Roy Flott, come in," the teacher called.

Roy stepped onto the podium, scanning the room, and froze.

'Didn't expect to be in Issei's class.'

He'd investigated Issei's address but not his class at Kuoh.

Even Issei's enrollment was a detail Roy had provided to his contacts, leading to the address.

'Some supporting characters are here too. Should yield some points.'

Roy refocused and launched into his introduction.

"Hey, everyone. I'm Roy Flott."

After a brief spiel, he wrapped up, "Looking forward to getting along with you all."

"Yes! Finally, a decent guy in our class. No more dealing with those losers!"

"My friend's been bragging about Kiba-kun in her class. Now we've got our own heartthrob!"

"No more eye torture from our boys!"

The girls erupted in cheers.

"Ugh, another pretty boy."

"Bet he's all looks, no substance."

"Girls are so shallow. A guy's gotta have depth!"

The boys, meanwhile, seethed with jealousy, none more than one glaring trio.

"Jealousy's practically oozing… Hyoudou, Matsuda, Motohama," a girl with pink-framed glasses and braided twin ponytails said, pushing up her glasses.

She eyed Roy sharply, then declared, "My analysis? He's top-tier."

"Why?!" the trio wailed.

"Alright, Roy, pick a seat," the teacher said, smiling.

Kuoh, originally an elite girls' school, had high admission standards, even after going co-ed.

Despite Issei and his friends' antics, their grades were top-notch elsewhere.

With a small class size, plenty of seats were open.

Girls eagerly waved Roy over.

"Hey," Roy said, approaching the braided girl who'd roasted Issei's trio.

"Mind if I sit here?"

The class gasped at his choice.

"Kiryuu's glasses and braids are such a trap! She's fooling him into thinking she's a good girl!"

"Roy, Kiryuu's a total gremlin! Don't fall for it!"

"Shut up!" Aika Kiryuu snapped.

"Stop slandering me. I'm a model student, not some schemer!"

She turned to Roy, flashing a shy smile.

"I'm Aika Kiryuu. Please, sit."

Smoothing her skirt, she sat primly, the picture of a lady.

"Thanks," Roy said, taking the seat beside her.

"Ugh!" the girls groaned, knowing Aika's true chaotic nature.
