The drunken Mabel Quinn naturally was different from her usual self, and she asserted confidently, "I... told them I was waiting... for my boyfriend to come, and asked them to leave, but they... just wouldn’t leave..."
She hiccuped a few times and wrapped her arms tightly around Kyle Kinston’s waist, completely oblivious to how this action might appear so ambiguously intimate in the eyes of others.
Even Caleb, who was beside Kyle Kinston at the moment, started to suspect whether his boss was indeed officially dating Mabel Quinn; otherwise, why wouldn’t he refute anything and let Mabel just hold him ?
After making a scene, Mabel leaned drunkenly against Kyle, tugging at his suit and murmured, "I don’t want to stay here... want to go back..." Back to where? Suddenly, she didn’t know anymore, but her fingers instinctively clutched his clothes.
Kyle Kinston looked down at the girl in his arms, as if trying to see her clearly. After a moment, he picked her up in his arms and told Caleb, "You stay here and handle things, and as for those two, make sure to question them thoroughly."

Those two men shivered entirely when Kyle Kinston cast a cold glance at them before leaving. They now regretted hitting on that woman; but no amount of regret could help them now.
Mabel Quinn was carried out of the pub by Kyle Kinston and placed into the car.
"Back to the residence," Kyle Kinston instructed the driver in the front seat.
The driver started the car and drove towards the Kinston residence. Kyle Kinston turned his head to look at the person lying next to him. Once in the car, she became much quieter, not noisily making any fuss, with her eyes closed, peacefully as if she were asleep.
Seeing her , a trace of helplessness rose in his heart.
She had called him in a flurry, making him anxious, but she drank herself into a stupor, stirred up trouble, and was now peacefully asleep without a care in the world.
Kyle Kinston’s eyes were deep and thoughtful as he slowly placed his right hand over his heart. Knowing she was alone drinking at the pub, unable to even clearly state the location, made his heart race fiercely until he saw her safe in the pub, it finally calmed down. This was something that has never happened before.
