"Archibald, stop pretending to be so righteous. You were the one who brought up the breakup first, and now you’re trying to pin all the blame on me. If I really wanted to break up with you, would I have waited for you to say it? Can’t I speak for myself? And don’t give me all that ’messing around’ talk. You’re still a college student, yet you speak so rudely!" Alice Conley said, stepping forward and kicking him twice with her high heels to vent her frustration. She really couldn’t understand how she ever found him appealing in the first place.
As for Dorian Howards, he watched Alice Conley’s actions without saying a word, though the gloomy expression on his face eased a bit.
Archibald winced in pain and turned to Dorian Howards, "Buddy, I’ve already broken up with this woman. Please, let it go. She’s not a good person, and she’s not even that pretty. I could introduce you to some beautiful girls who are more suited for someone with your looks."
Damn, what kind of person is this! At that moment, Alice Conley truly felt that she must have been blind before. "Archibald, who are you calling not a good person?" Alice Conley swung her bag right into Archibald’s face, then she kicked, kicked, and kicked some more! "And tell me, who gave you the right to judge a woman’s looks like that? Didn’t your mother ever teach you to watch your mouth!"
Archibald wailed, unable to fight back as another foot was pressing on his chest, rendering his struggles futile and reducing him to a passive punching bag.

Alice Conley bent down to pick up her bag, dusted off the dirt, and said to Dorian Howards in a casual manner, "Thanks for today." With that said, she was ready to leave.
But before she could take two steps, her arm was grabbed by Dorian Howards. "Usually, people end with offering a meal, but you skipped even that part."
"I’m still out job hunting, and my living expenses are covered by my family. I don’t have the money to treat you to dinner." Alice Conley rolled her eyes at Dorian Howards.
"Really no money?" He gave her a suspicious look.
"No money." She replied unflinchingly, ignoring the fact that she had over a thousand yuan in her wallet, having just received payment for writing two episodes of an animation today.
For anyone else, treating someone to dinner wouldn’t be a problem, but if it was Dorian Howards, Alice Conley thought it best to avoid getting entangled.
"Alright then, since you’re so broke, how about I treat you to a meal?" Dorian Howards said, his smile not reaching his eyes.
"No need, I can’t accept favors for no reason. It’s better if we just go our separate ways." She said, trying to twist her arm free from his grip.
However, Dorian Howards’ fingers remained firmly pinched on her arm. The more she struggled, the more it hurt.
"Today, I insist on treating you." Dorian Howards gave a cold smile and directly pulled Alice Conley into his car.
The iron-gray Maybach was quite a testament to his status. Seated inside the car, Alice Conley didn’t entertain thoughts of jumping out to escape, understanding full well that agitating Dorian Howards was no joke. It was better to quietly enjoy, eat and drink as she pleased.
"I thought after breaking up with me, you’d find someone exceptional. But apparently, that’s not the case." Dorian Howards’ voice suddenly resounded inside the car.
