Dorian Howards lowered his eyes slightly. No matter how many women there are in this world, there is only one Alice Conley. They broke up three years ago, yet he remembered her for three years.
He didn’t intentionally try to remember, he just couldn’t forget.
"And what about you? What did you say to the woman who stepped on Mabel Quinn’s dress? You might not be able to completely escape responsibility for her reckless behavior."
It seems her cousin was watching her throughout the banquet! Francine Howards smiled faintly, "It’s nothing much, just added some fuel to the fire. But it wasn’t because I wanted to make things difficult for Mabel Quinn, it was a punishment for ’that woman’ you mentioned. In front of me, only I can criticize Kyle, no one else has the right."
"You really are something..." Dorian Howards shook his head. After all, his cousin grew up with him, naturally, there was affection. He hoped she wouldn’t meet a bleak end, "You and Kyle aren’t meant to be. He’s not the one you should love."
Francine Howards pursed her red lips lightly. "I never believe there’s such a thing as ’destiny’ in this world."
After breakfast, Kyle Kinston drove Mabel Quinn to the Corporation. As Mabel got out of the car, Kyle’s phone suddenly rang. He glanced at the caller ID but didn’t answer, instead, he directly hung up.
Mabel looked at Kyle curiously, "You’re not going to answer the phone?"
"It’s just a boring call. If it’s really something important, they should call again." Kyle smiled lightly, only instructing the driver to drive after Mabel had entered the Corporation, and then he took out his phone and looked at the caller ID.
Though this number wasn’t stored in his phone contacts, he had an excellent memory. When investigating Daniel Harris, naturally, his personal phone number was in the information, and it turned out to be the very number that just called.
Daniel Harris was looking for him? A glint flashed in Kyle’s eyes, he put away his phone and instructed the driver, "Drive."
On the other side, in the Harris Family garden, Daniel Harris looked at his phone, his brows slightly furrowed, and instructed the servant, "Prepare the car."

"Elder Kinston, Mr. Daniel Harris is requesting to see you. He is currently waiting in the Corporation’s reception room." Caleb reported.
Kyle Kinston raised an eyebrow slightly, not expecting Daniel Harris to come directly to the Corporation.
When Kyle Kinston reached the reception room to meet Daniel Harris, the other man was sitting on the sofa, calm as still water yet as gentle as jade.
But this eldest son of the Harris Family was not a simple character. Rising from being blind to holding the real power in the Harris Family, if he hadn’t been ruthless and decisive, he might not have come this far.
Previously, Daniel Harris was just a power holder in the Harris Family of J City to him, but now, the other man had an additional identity—the blind village youth who Mabel could never forget.
However, it seemed that Daniel Harris did not recognize Mabel, and from his investigation, Daniel began supporting Grace Yowell when she was 16, covering all of her living and educational expenses. Even her film career was supported by him.
Coincidentally, Grace was also a former resident of Drumbeat Village, and during Mabel’s two months in Drumbeat Village, she stayed at the Yowell Family’s house.
"Mr. Kinston!" Daniel Harris stood up immediately upon seeing Kyle, lacking a bit of his usual calmness.

"Then what is it you want to ask, Mr. Harris?" Kyle inquired.
Daniel’s gaze flicked to Kyle’s left wrist, but today he didn’t see the bracelet Kyle had worn. Naturally, he understood that in a work setting, Kyle likely wouldn’t wear any jewelry.
"I’d like to ask where Mr. Kinston got the bracelet he wore to the banquet yesterday?" Daniel asked, his voice unknowingly trembling slightly. Even he didn’t fully understand why he felt compelled to find Kyle and ask about it.
Perhaps it was because that bracelet’s pattern seemed remarkably similar to one he had once felt with his hand. But after all, at that time, he could only feel it and didn’t actually see it.
"Is Mr. Harris interested in such trinkets as well? There are quite a few like them sold at street stalls over in Falling City. I found it interesting, so I got one. If Mr. Harris likes, perhaps next time I go to Falling City and see one, I can bring it back for you." Kyle spoke seemingly nonchalantly, while observing Daniel’s expression.
A flash of disappointment passed across Daniel’s face, but in an instant, he was back to his normal demeanor. "That’s not necessary. It’s just that bracelet looked a bit like one my friend made as a child, so I wanted to ask about it."
Kyle raised an eyebrow, "That’s quite odd, Mr. Harris. If you’re interested in such bracelets, why not ask your friend to make another one for you instead of coming to ask me? Or is it...?" He paused for a moment, "Or is it that you and your friend are separated? Are you looking for your friend?"
"No, I’ve already found my friend. I was just being a bit peculiar today." Daniel said self-mockingly. Indeed, he found Grace Yowell more than 10 years ago, but why, after seeing the bracelet on Kyle’s wrist, did he act so impulsively to come and inquire?
