Grace Yowell gritted her teeth, but she could only say, "Alright, take a good rest. I’ll come see you tomorrow."

But back then, it was only Grace who was willing to speak to him in a world of darkness, who would accompany him, who ran up the mountain risking danger to find him when he wanted to give up on life, acting as his eyes in stormy nights.

"Tell me, how can you completely turn a person into your own?" In Dorian Howards’ private residence, Kyle Kinston asked while pulling out a book from the shelf and flipping through it.
Dorian Howards frowned, because the book his friend was flipping through was titled "A Hundred Ways to Win a Woman’s Heart," which he had casually bought at a bookstore some time ago just to kill time.
He initially only intended to buy a few feel-good books for amusement, but somehow, as if driven by some inexplicable force, he ended up buying this one.
"Um... who is this ’someone’ you’re referring to? Mabel Quinn?" Dorian asked a bit awkwardly, wanting to take the book back, though his friend seemed to be seriously reading its content.
"Yes," Kyle Kinston replied.
"Aren’t you already boyfriend and girlfriend with her? Do you still need to think about this?" Dorian couldn’t help but feel a bit envious of his friend’s situation compared to his own with Alice Conley.
"It’s not enough," Kyle Kinston said. "Being just boyfriend and girlfriend is still far from enough."
"If being boyfriend and girlfriend doesn’t weigh enough, then just get married," Dorian tossed out casually.
The study suddenly went silent. Kyle looked up and fixed his gaze on Dorian, "Marriage?"
Strangely, under his friend’s gaze, Dorian felt a nervous dryness in his mouth as if every nerve was stretched tight. "I was just saying casually, even though Mabel Quinn is your destiny, after all, you two haven’t known each other for that long. Maybe you should wait until your relationship further develops before talking about marriage."
"Will marriage really be effective?" Kyle Kinston asked.
Dorian was momentarily stunned, then he thought of Kyle Kinston’s parents’ past. Back then, Kyle’s parents were also married, but it ended the way it did, so no wonder he would question it.
"It varies from person to person. It depends on whether some people only see marriage as a piece of paper or as a lifetime commitment," Dorian said.
Kyle Kinston abruptly closed the book in his hand with a "snap." "I’ll take this book back with me to read first."
"Huh?" Dorian was taken aback, "Are you really going to read that book?"
"I have a feeling it might be somewhat useful," Kyle Kinston said.
