Because of Kyle Kinston’s instructions, as soon as Mabel Quinn entered the mansion, a servant quickly led her to a room, saying, "This is the bedroom the CEO prepared for you, Miss Quinn."
The bedroom was arranged very simply and elegantly, with a separate walk-in closet. However, when Mabel Quinn walked into the closet, she gasped sharply. There were many clothes, bags, and shoes inside. She casually picked up some and glanced at them; they were all luxury brands, each likely costing an ordinary person several months’ or even years’ salary to purchase.
"These were also prepared by the CEO. If you feel something is missing, Miss Quinn, you can let us know."
"No, nothing is missing." Mabel Quinn still felt as if she was dreaming. After the servant left, she began organizing her luggage.
The clothes in her suitcase were all cheap items, appearing very out of place next to those brand-name clothes.
This kind of walk-in closet is a dream for many girls. In the past, she had hoped that one day she could have a closet filled with all kinds of beautiful clothes. But now that she actually owned it, she couldn’t feel any joy, just an unreal feeling.
After Mabel Quinn finished organizing her clothes and walked out of the room, descending the stairs, she happened to see Kyle Kinston returning. He stepped out of the car wearing a suit, while the security personnel stationed outside stood at attention.
He suddenly lifted his head, looking in her direction.
In that instant, she felt as though she fell into his enchanting eyes.
"Come here," he said to her, raising his left hand.
Although there was quite a distance between them at that moment, and she could barely hear his voice, it was as if she completely understood what he meant, walking towards him step by step.
When she reached him, he suddenly wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her fully into his embrace.
At that moment, Mabel Quinn’s face turned red.
Oh God, there are so many people around, she only felt that countless eyes were focused on her, and around them was an intimidating silence.
"You’re here." His voice quietly emerged by her ear, like the cold wind in the night, carrying a distant yet slightly joyous feeling.

His hand tightened a bit more, so much that her body was almost tightly pressed against his, causing her face to redden even more. His face buried in her neck, inhaling her scent. Knowing well that she would appear here, yet still harboring a faint trace of unease as he stepped into the mansion. And as soon as he saw her, that unease dissipated.
It’s strange, to feel anxious over whether a woman would come here or not—such feelings he never had before, and now... is it because she is his soul’s existence?
Is that why she brings him this unfamiliar feeling?
"But luckily you’re here, otherwise..." he murmured, not finishing the sentence but making her whole body suddenly tense.
