However, unlike the usual bustling and lively atmosphere, today’s City of Chosen was unprecedentedly calm.
The streets were devoid of passersby, and all the shops had their doors tightly shut. Only a few elegantly dressed elves, draped in long robes, bustled around the Life Temple in the city.
At this moment, within the Life Temple, the Life Saintess Alice stood dressed in ceremonial attire, facing hundreds of elves clad in priest robes, with an expression of seriousness and piety.
