Emira stiffened as the blindfold came over her eyes, shutting out the world in a thick, suffocating darkness and blurring all her senses. Even though she had known his intention and not protested, she felt herself panicking at the sudden darkness and her own helplessness.
For a moment, she felt lost, swallowed whole by the absence of sight. She could feel every inch of the two men pressing against her, the brush of air, the uneven pressure of her clothes, the faint rhythm of her own heartbeat hammering in her ears as the darkness seemed to stretch endlessly,
But then came Zen’s voice, in a small whisper, "Are you okay, little fire?"
The familiar voice was enough to pull her back from the edge. She exhaled shakily, clutching at the sound of his voice as if it were a lifeline. She nodded, or at least tried to, but her response was cut short as Kael’s lips found the curve of her neck. His teeth grazed her skin before he nibbled lightly, sending a sharp tremor through her body.
Her thoughts scattered. The heat of his breath against her throat contrasted with the cool air that suddenly swept over her back. She realized Zen had stepped away, and the loss of his nearness made her shiver.
She swallowed hard, her mind racing with questions. What was Zen doing now? And what about Kael? What was the Alpha going to do next?
She tried to listen for even the faintest trace of movement, the softest sound that might give away their intentions, but it was useless. The blindfold seemed to dull everything except her own heartbeat.
Then, out of nowhere, a warm breath ghosted over her ear. She gasped, startled, just before his teeth bit at her ear... "Pay attention, Emira," came the husky murmur.
Her body tensed and then trembled. Prince Kael rarely ever said her name. Most of the time, he didn’t need to, his silence was enough. But when he did say it, especially like this, his voice low and edged with authority, it sent an involuntary shiver down her spine.
Another bite followed, sharper this time, and she couldn’t suppress the soft sound that escaped her lips. The realisation came slowly, Zen was gone. He had probably gone to speak with Alpha Lance.
Just as she was wondering this, hands tugged into her hair as he pulled back her hair. "Do you want the three of us, Emira?"
Emira stiffened. Did she really want that? She didn’t know. But, she had been ready... She shook her head slowly. His lips ghosted over her cheeks as he whispered, "Liar. You know I can smell your arousal and your distraction, right?"

Her heart lurched violently. Zen and Lance hadn’t left yet. They had been there the entire time, silent and unseen, watching her. The realisation hit her with a strange, dizzying force.
Shame, fear, and confusion tangled inside her until she could barely breathe. Her entire body seemed suspended between fear and awareness, every breath shallow, every nerve taut. She could hear the faint scrape of movement, the subtle shift of air that told her they were closer than she had thought. Much closer. She tried to feel it... would she be able to touch them if she moved her hands? Her hands clenched at her side, ready to move,
