The office was filled with only the sound of Jude Winslow playing a game, making the surrounding silence even more eerily silent.
Mia Winslow stared intently at Eleanor Winslow, wishing she could bore a hole through her with her gaze.
"Your five minutes are up, please leave!" Mia suddenly issued an eviction order.
Eleanor’s calm eyes carried a hint of mockery: "Mia Winslow, I’m not talking to you as an intern from Aurelian & Partners, but as the wife who hasn’t finalized her divorce with Adrian Grant, Eleanor Winslow."
When Mia heard the words ’Adrian Grant’s wife’, her pupils contracted sharply as if she had been provoked.
Eleanor relaxed on the sofa, casually guessing, "Did you confront Adrian Grant, only for him to find someone new and dump you?"
