Entering Apocalypse in Easy-Mode Chapter 495

Archangel Michael stood still in the center of his room, the scroll now set aside, his expression no longer composed.

The usual stillness that defined him had cracked only a little, but clear enough. His wings shifted slightly as he began pacing the room with slow deliberate steps.

His thoughts raced. "This changes everything."

He reached for his connection to the ring, the one he had personally attuned and handed over long ago as a private channel of contact with Clyde. His mind already hovered over it.

What if the Bureau or even the other Archangel had already begun monitoring magical fluctuations? What if even now, every unauthorized signal was being traced, logged, analyzed?

A direct call could be all it took to expose Clyde’s position. Or worse—reveal Michael himself as a his ally in all of this disaster.

He slowly pulled his mind back.

Morvius wasn’t just any being. He was the one trusted with the location of every coordinates of thr Bureau that should’ve been unreachable by anyone outside the of their own staffer and World Masters.

But Clyde had broken in. He had found them. That meant someone from inside the Bureau had helped him, and if Morvius realized that right now must be tracing that breach in security and inform the other Higher Beings about the same possibility.

"Then he’s not just looking for a among themselves. He’s hunting a traitor, or multiple

Michael stopped pacing and looked out at the sky outside his window. The lights of the dome that marks the line of his domain beyond shimmered faintly, almost as if pulsing with the weight of his decision.

"Did Morvius already suspect someone?"

A sick feeling curled in his gut. It wasn’t just suspicion anymore. It was something certain.

If Clyde had entered that Bureau building stolen coordinates that made him able to travel between domains as he want, the only logical conclusion was inside assistance.

The Bureau would know this. And Morvius coming down personally that means that he must be already have some suspicions that another traitor were in the higher realms. So he wanted to flush them out.

Michael ran a hand down his face, something he hadn’t done in ages.

"This can be bad. Very bad. If they begins a search among the Higher Beings then they will found out who were his allies and it will be hard to obtain information."

"If I can’t warn him directly, I need another way. I just hope he senses the storm coming before it’s too late.

Michael stood still for a moment longer, his gaze distant as thoughts swirled behind his eyes. Then, with silent resolve, he moved.

"First, I need to know what Morvius told them. Then I have to act."

He stepped toward the balcony, wings unfurling with a controlled sweep.

In a flash of motion, Michael launched into the upper air, cutting across layers of shimmering clouds and golden winds as he made his way toward Gabriel’s domain.

When he arrived at the gates of the domaon, two Angelic guards saluted at once, spears crossed in reverence.

Michael didn’t acknowledge them. He walked past them with measured and purposeful steps.

Inside, a servant approached and wordlessly bowed, already sensing whom he had come to see.

Without needing to speak, Michael was led through the grand halls of light-filled marble and glass until they reached a quiet inner sanctum of the building.

Gabriel and Uriel sat within it, a subtle halo of power lingering around them. Uriel’s presence felt quieter and weaker now. Since her domain’s fall to the corruption left by Clyde and Asqa, she had not returned to the domain again.

She now lived here, in Gabriel’s domain—perhaps as guest, perhaps as ward. Gabriel, however, seemed unbothered by her presence.

Michael stepped in, his long black hair catching the sun through the glass dome above. He took a seat in one of the empty corners, folding his wings behind him.

"What brings you here, Michael?" Gabriel asked, his voice smooth and composed as always.

"I heard the Director of the Bureau came," Michael replied calmly.

Gabriel nodded. "Yes. A couple of days ago."

Uriel said nothing, simply watching him.

Gabriel continued. "He came unannounced. Said he had found the anomaly’s current location. He said that we need to prepare for a direct attack the moment the final confirmation comes."

Michael gave no outward reaction. His face remained unreadable, composed as ever. But internally, his thoughts reeled.

"So it’s already moving that far... They believe they’ve truly found him."

He folded his hands loosely, looking toward the floor in thought. Then he looked back up and said, "And he said nothing else?"

"Only that the World Bureau will mobilize alongside us when the time is right," Gabriel answered. "The coordinates are being verified now. Once confirmed, all factions of the higher domaons will receive deployment notice and wr attack together."

Michael nodded slowly.

He said nothing more, letting the silence stretch for a breath longer than necessary before finally standing.

"Then I’ll return to prepare my armies. Keep me informed when the time comes," Michael said with simple smile.

Gabriel simply nodded again, unconcerned. "Of course."

Michael turned, gave Uriel a passing glance, then exited the chamber.

Only when he was once again in the skies did he allow his brow to furrow slightly, the first crack in his expression.

"This is worse than I thought.

They truly have found him.And they’re going to make sure he can’t run again. When we all attack together."

He ascended higher, wings carving through clouds, and whispered to the wind.

"The Director must be already found the traitor and the traitor led him to Clyde."

Then he realize something.

"Do I have to help him though? Or just let them kill him and take the power of the Ancient One for myself?"
