Someone asked me earlier and in the past too as for why this novel is still bad, even after I removed the Chinese elements like nationalism/racism — and why I still mess up so many names, like not editing the Succubus to Incubus, or Meyers instead of Myers, etc.
1, I'm not motivated because I'm not making any money from this novel. Let's be real — it's a lot easier to stay motivated, like other translators, when you're actually earning something from it. The only ones who don't care are either super dedicated or just not caring about not fixing mistakes. I was like that too in my early days of translating.
2, Same reason as #1.
3, I'm not the same person I was 6–7 months ago. Back then, I was genuinely excited to translate this story because I liked it. But after reading all 800 unfiltered MTL Chapters... I started to dislike it. Honestly, I downright hate the story now — especially how the author kept forcing nationalism, racism, and all that garbage into this story.
