He couldn’t do anything about it; after all, he didn’t have the power to dig through the earth. Seeing danger, these Sandpeople had easily drilled into the ground. Although he could see small sandbags moving above ground, they were too fast.
The key issue was that he couldn’t attack the Sandpeople who had burrowed underground directly. Killing some took a lot of time and effort, and the rest of them would flee. It was indeed troublesome to deal with these Sandpeople.
Du You took out his simple map and sneered at the markings on it.
"Hmph, even if they run away, where can they go? There are only a few places they can hide."
The map indicated there were five Sandpeople villages nearby. The locations might change frequently, or they might stay the same for several years. It was uncertain.
But the large areas indicated on the map were correct. If the Sandpeople were fleeing, they would surely head to these villages.
Sandpeople are different from humans. It was common for an individual Sandperson to join other villages if they were left alone.
So, Du You issued a command: "XiaoZi, keep searching. Find those villages for me. Today, we will slaughter them one by one. We won’t let these bastards get away."
If there weren’t only five villages, Du You would’ve killed them without hesitating. However, if there were too many villages here, there would surely be powerful Quicksand soldiers, and he might not be able to defeat them. XiaoZi continued searching in the sky. In no time, Du You found the second Sandpeople’s village.

"Ignorance is really a bliss." As Du You said this, he utilised the Mucus Curse again. However, this time, he deliberately avoided the fire. He worried that the flames would frighten these creatures.
The mucus spread out, slowing down the Sandpeople. They couldn’t burrow underground, and their movements were greatly affected.
They struggled, some trying to break free, others trying to charge at Du You. However, since they were all stuck, they looked very chaotic, but the group itself didn’t become disorganised.
Those who weren’t stuck tried to go around it and continue their attack.
"The effect isn’t bad. If the poison could take effect, it would be even better."
XiaoZi did not attack, the Heavenly Disaster Demonic Dogs were held back, only the curse of the Cursed Crow King was being cast.
Instead of starting a fire, Du You directly used the recently formed Holy Light Arrow Array. A white spell came out of his fingers, entering into the void. Several light dots appeared in the void.

Then, like a rain of arrows, they shot directly downward, turning the Sandpeople into hedgehogs. The magic resistance of these creatures was too low, making it difficult to resist the Holy Light Arrows.
Though they were fiercely tenacious, the Sandpeople were only a sub-species of humans. They had similar structures to humans and if they were seriously injured, they would die.
"Not bad, this is good. Let’s see what happens at full power." Du You cast seven spells simultaneously.
Visibly, his magical power dropped significantly, but the result was terrifying. Four hundred and ninety arrows appeared densely, making those with a phobia of crowded spaces feel their scalp tingle.
A large number of arrows descended from the sky. Standing alone, Du You looked like an entire army, creating a scene that was terrifying even to him. Under the arrow rain, not a single Sandperson escaped; all were slaughtered.
"The scene is spectacular, and the power is impressive, but it’s hard to control, and it consumes too much magical power. It’s enough to use a single spell individually."
Du You pondered inwardly. If he encountered a strong defensive entity, then even many arrows would be useless. After all, this kind of attack was too dispersed. It seemed he already had a new direction for developing his spells.
Regardless, he still had to continue slaughtering the Sandpeople’s villages. Du You set his mucus on fire to burn the Sandpeople and their villages.

The whole process was devoid of obstacles, except for one Quicksand soldier who was level 9. The most powerful in the other Sandpeople’s villages were merely level 4, and there were only two of them.
After all, this wasn’t a frontline battlefield. Perhaps that level 9 Quicksand soldier had come from someplace else. After finishing off the villages, Du You turned off his recording emblem and began searching for his next target.
