"These students are quite capable." Teacher Liu, hiding in the shadows, finally spoke up.
It wasn’t just one Teacher Liu now. As an observer, he couldn’t monitor everything all by himself. So, Teacher Liu used a type of doppelganger skill.
He multiplied himself into dozens and scattered around to observe each of his students. Meanwhile, he was veiled in a mystifying smoke.
If anyone was far enough away, they would easily overlook him. It wasn’t that they couldn’t see him, but anyone who did see him would dismiss him as unimportant, just as they would a regular rock or bush.
Once the teams were formed, Xi Qianxue and Baobao moved deeper into the north.
When they encountered enemies, Baobao, engulfed in black flames, would charge directly at them, while Xi Qianxue sent icy arrows from behind. They quickly established perfect coordination.
"There seems to be a large tribe ahead. No, we are near the connector, this should be a garrison. So, shall we attack?" Baobao tactically hid behind a tree, carefully peeking out.
Xi Qianxue nodded indifferently. "There are barely more than a hundred people. Let’s attack. The two tier-two fighters are weak, we can deal with them." She noticed that tier-two fighters in this world were not their competition. The power levels of identical tiers could be drastically different in different worlds.

Wordlessly, Xi Qianxue stepped forward as the temperature around her plummeted.
A blue light circle spread from Xi Qianxue, causing ice to form on the ground and snow to fall from the sky. The sudden chill discomforted the enemies even though they sensed something was wrong.
"Enemy! We have enemies." An enemy yelled as others quickly drew their weapons. However, when they saw there was only one enemy, panic gave way to rage.
Xi Qianxue pointed her magic staff forward: "Ice Crystal Forest."
The ice on the ground suddenly grew rapidly as if it was alive. It injured the enemies, some with deadly piercings and others with wounds on their arms or legs, which were glued to the ice. Try as they might, they couldn’t pull themselves off the ice.
Suddenly, a wave of cold entered through their wounds, turning them into ice sculptures.
Baobao stared in shock at the sight. "A spell that changes the environment, not something an ordinary person can do. This classmate is really amazing." Baobao exhaled a puff of hot air.
"I feel like it was a mistake to team up with Miss Xi."
There was no help for it; Baobao, fire-powered warrior, was affected in the cold environment. He felt unsteady, sleepy and slow in the cold.
Fighting the strange sensation, Baobao increased his speed and launched a furious assault against the enemy. He single-handedly held off the two tier-two enemies.
When Xi Qianxue released more and more ice magic, adding layers of ice power, the two tier-two enemies had lost most of their fighting ability. Baobao could now handle both of them alone.
When the two emerged, the camp had turned into a snow-covered land, filled with ice sculptures of enemies that told a tale of the horrors they faced before their death.
Meanwhile, another team bypassed the connector and headed east. They soon encountered a village of enemies.
"Should we just go full-on?" Li Xian asked his teammate.
"Let’s do it. I’ve checked; there are no tier-two enemies here. We should act quickly and wipe them out before the others can react. It’ll be good for us."
"Good, Dian Hao. I knew I was right about you." Li Xian grinned and walked forward, his bright white Dou Qi aura shone around him. It was attribute-less Dou Qi.
Truth be told, attribute-less Dou Qi was rarer than Dou Qi with attributes. This attribute-less Dou Qi could stack with any other Dou Qi, which was extremely beneficial for one’s growth.
Dian Hao smirked. He suddenly transformed, his face elongated, arms turned into claws and, in a flash, he was something akin to a wolfman, but he wasn’t one. On closer inspection, you would see some human characteristics and other features.
A single sharp horn jutted out from his head, giving him a rather delicate look as a wild strength burst out from him.
"So, you’re a Beast Warrior. That’s an incredibly rare vocation."
Despite being taken aback, Li Xian soon recognized Dian Hao’s profession. He wasn’t specifically a wolfman or anything of the sort, but had the unique power of a Beast Warrior.
"I’ve heard that Beast Warriors can merge the power of different beasts into one. The more beast powers you combine, the more complex your beast characteristics. Judging by your appearance, you’ve merged three kinds, right?"
"No, five." Dian Hao’s voice was rougher now.
The enemies sensed the two intruders. Without saying another word, the two turned into lightning and rushed into the enemy lines.
Li Xian’s knight sword swept through, cleaving everything in front of it into two, while Dian Hao’s attack with those dagger-like claws were much wilder.
Dian Hao moved so swiftly it was barely possible to see him. Sparks flew off his claws with each attack, causing significant damage to the enemies.
The duo attacked like tigers in a sheep herd, each blow fatal. In just a short while, the enemies were driven to collapse. Many tried to flee, but lacking any significant detrimental magic power, some of the enemies managed to escape.
"Let’s move quickly. Once word gets out about us, we are likely to be surrounded by more enemies. We can’t handle that, I’m afraid."
