He suddenly struck out a palm strike made up of pure Spiritual Energy, causing the shadowy figure to panic as it also struck out a palm strike.
Both of them collided against eachother, sending shockwaves throughout a hundred miles of the entire forest.
However, just as they collided, the young monk’s palm strike easily overpowered the shadowy figure’s, making it fly tens of miles away.
*Bam!*
It landed on a small hill, completely crushing it underneath.
"You who have brought about innumerable miseries, submit to the venerable grace of the Buddha!" The monk shouted, his eyes glowing brighter than ever.
*Voom!*
Suddenly, a golden light burst forth from his eyes, directly landing on the shadowy figure.
*Screech!*
It cried out in excruciating pain before its entire body was enveloped in golden light, and soon, it disappeared completely.
Heaving a sigh of relief, the monk clasped his hands together.
"Amitabha...that is what you get for terrorizing all the living beings for countless years!" He said solemnly.
"It was fortunate that I was present in the Canglang Region, otherwise, who knows how much more suffering this ghost that had somehow become an evil god might’ve caused?" He muttered under his breath, feeling slightly proud.
"It’s truly a long journey from the Western Continent to the Eastern Continent, huh? But all the living beings should have an impression of both me, Yun Jiang, and my Benevolent Buddha Hall, otherwise, I wouldn’t go this far as to exploring this many states in a single continent."
