Liu Chusheng heard this and knew that the worst had happened.

Liu Chusheng panicked inside, but forced himself to remain calm, "What are you talking about? How could I possibly do such a thing? I don’t admit it!"

The captain held back his anger and decided to take Liu Chusheng back to the station for questioning first.
Hospital staff members hurried over to disperse the crowd gathered outside looking on.
Seeing this, the police officers pulled out handcuffs and moved forward.
When Liu Chusheng saw those shining handcuffs, his heart broke.
He kept shouting loudly that he was innocent and unwilling to cooperate.
But the police officers didn’t indulge him, two of them pressed him down onto the wheelchair from left and right, making him immobilized. With a couple of clicks, the handcuffs locked around Liu Chusheng’s wrists.
Liu Chusheng felt humiliated; his gaze fell on Jiang Ning with a dark expression, filled with resentment.
Jiang Ning met his eyes, said nothing, and didn’t look away, but instead, she gently raised her eyebrows, her expression seeming to smile, not smile.
This gesture was undoubtedly a brazen provocation, an insult to Liu Chusheng!
She didn’t speak, yet her silent mockery was even more hurtful to Liu Chusheng than if she had spoken.
Liu Chusheng was startled, and then he couldn’t hold back anymore.
He didn’t understand, persistently questioning the police officers, "Why don’t you arrest her! She is the one who hit someone! Are you blind!"
"I want to sue her! Do you hear me!"
The police officers remained silent, finding him noisy.
One of the officers pulled out a black hood and put it over Liu Chusheng’s head, bringing silence to the world at last.
